Lovely meal here with family . Had 2 courses from the pre theatre menu ,portions were big and very tasty. Good value as you also got a glass of wine of soft drink included in the price. Staff all very friendly.

First time here, very good. Staff were very good, and drinks were first class. Point of order, poor glasses, more like a toothpaste glass. Starters were very good, haggis pakora lovely, pate was home made and good, goats cheese superb. Mains were lovely also, stark pie, was individual, and absolutely superb. Ham was ok, but frankly a poorly described gammon... More

Thank you for leaving us this feedback. I am delighted that you found the service and food to be of a high standard. We are also extremely chuffed to be described as a "real hidden gem!" As for the toothpaste glasses, we are pretty baffled. This is something we will consider when ordering our glass-wear in the future. Also, our... More

This is our second review of the Sisters. Why? Because it is worthy of a review every visit. The staff in this restaurant are faultless! The food is also faultless! Starters of haggis Pakora and crispy goats cheese were excellent! The steak pie was melt in the mouth and the Carluke ham was delicious!!! Desserts of raspberry and pistachio tart... More

We were lucky enough to win dinner at The Sisters in a recent People Make Glasgow competition and I am so happy we did. I had been meaning to have dinner at The Sisters for a long time but was always too late when trying to book. Anyway, our meal and overall experience was absolutely gorgeous. I wouldn't expect it... Dined here on a 5 PM deal (£22.50 for 3 courses and a glass of wine) and was blown away by the excellent meal we had. I'm not a big eater, so I kind of struggled a bit with the 3 courses, but I tried to sample all of them at least. The goat's cheese starter was delicious, followed by... More

We visited here for Valentines Day lunch. It was bizarrely quiet...and as a result felt a bit underwhelming on arrival. We had a nice enough table, but the surroundings really need updating - especially the bathrooms which leave a lot to be desired. The food was a bit meh..which was disappointing- everything felt tired, and not very loved. Probably won't... More

You were clearly in the wrong restaurant or dined with us Valentines 2016, as we were full all day on valentines day and have had a full refurbishment of the restaurant and toilets, since December 2016. Thank you More

Took a a friend here for a birthday treat on Sunday 26 February. The restaurant was not busy. Two tables of four, and another table of two. We were given the Sunday menu and the drinks menu. A jug of water was brought to the table. It was another 45 minutes before anyone came to take our drinks order! We... More

Dear awaywiththefairies, Thank you for leaving us this feedback. I regret that on this occasion - the service was slow. I am also deeply sorry that you waited so long for your drinks, that the waitress forgot about, and to hear the negative impact that this had on your dining experience with us. Kind regards Rachael. It was a fair few years since I had last been here, my recollections were good so I was looking forward to going back. It was a lovely night and the food and service was really spot on. The duck main course was great but my better half had the amazing sea bream dish. Relaxing ambience and perfect for couples... More
