Location and contact

Established in 2004, Dakhin was the first authentic South Indian restaurant in Scotland. Set amidst the centre of Glasgow's Merchant city district, it offers diners a vast array of speciality dishes from India's southern region. We're talking about authentic recipes using fresh natural ingredients from award-winning chefs. Food worth talking about, and a warm dining experience to savour. Dakhin proudly features within the Michelin Guide and comes highly recommended by many food critics. If you are looking for something different from your run of the mill Indian restaurant then you'd best be sure not to miss out.

Booked easily. Full but seated quickly. Excellent service, plenty of vegetarian choices. Spicy of course, but manageable. Really couldn't fault it in any way.

It was very busy. I can see why. Excellent friendly service. Great choice of South Indian curries and no need to worry about which contain gluten. None of them do. Even the breads are gluten free Will definitely go again

Had this restaurant on my radar for ages and finally ate there today. Fantastic Indian food with very different flavours and lots of vegan options. Service is as good as you’ll get anywhere. Fast, friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back soon

Yes children are welcome. I'd imagine if you phoned the Restaurant Manager before your visit, he or she would arrange something for you. They are most helpful and very friendly.
