Ate here last night with my partner, the food was absolutely amazing, we had the scallops with black pudding then sirloin and fillet steak with all the trimmings and it really was amazing and cooked to perfection, then 2 Irish coffees to follow before going up to our room in the adjoining holiday Inn. worth a visit

Vastly over priced service charge far too high.we went in after the cinema we only wanted casual dining we were not offered to eat in the bar area straight into the a la carte restaurant. The food was ok.

I went to La Bonne Auberge with my girlfriend i was greeted with a very friendly and enthusiastic waiter, who then promptly asked if we would like any drinks, food was really tasty and had good presentation. Overall it was a really enjoyable night.

Saw the ad for "3 course dinner for 2 with a bottle of wine for £49.95" (restaurant seems to call it 3-2-1 [3 courses for 2 people with 1 bottle of wine]) in my opera programme. As I was off on holiday and spending the night in Glasgow, this looked worth a go. The food was on the better side... More

We were in the function suite at a charity dinner and found the food and atmosphere excellent. Funny football anecdotes. Great company and all in the most worthy of causes

John was in Glasgow for a meeting so I came for the trip & to do a little Christmas shopping. We decided to try this restraunt for our evening meal. It has started snowing outside but inside it was beautifully warm & welcoming. We were shown to a table immediately by the window by a charming lady. I chose the... More

This was a graduation celebration for our daughter. The service was impeccable, the friendliness of the staff, the professionalism was outstanding. The quality of the food and presentation was mind blowing! We came here for my husbands graduation years ago and we are so glad we came here this time. I wish my youngest daughter would graduate soon so we... More

I was in town shopping and wanted a light lunch. We went there to have a filling bowl of soup in nice surroundings. Their French onion soup is always amazing and it is just right for a quick, light lunch.

Booked an afternoon tea deal through 5pm and I must admit I didn't have high hopes for the place. However I was pleasantly surprised! It was lovely and we enjoyed it. The staff were nice enough and there was a nice atmosphere. There's nothing bad to say.

Description
The original La Bonne Auberge first opened its doors on Bastille Day in 1975, and it's had something to celebrate ever since. Glasgow's first French-Mediterranean brasserie and Bar, this smart restaurant with its aproned waiters and blackboard menus now has an AA Rosette to confirm what the locals have known all along. Set in the fashionable Theatreland district, this is a feast of Riviera cuisine.
