The carbonara was so lovely as was the caprese, carpaccio, scallop and prawn pasta! Great friendly atmosphere. They were glad to not add pepper!

Lovely traditional high ceiling room with original features, we chose the early bird menu, plenty of choice, served promptly plentiful portions, staff all chatty and friendly, all in all a lovely relaxed meal

Turned up without a reservation but they squeezed us in. First visit but definitely not our last. Food was amazing and the staff were very friendly.

We had a meal close to Christmas, but not actually on Christmas Day. The restaurant and staff were very festive.
