Just wanted a quick dinner before returning and chose Ichiban for it's convenient location and previous experience in other city. It's not a cheap eat for the basic service and decor but the great taste wins us over. Well done!

I come here every so often with my boyfriend, it's my favourite restaurant in Glasgow! There are plenty of vegetarian options and the prices are good. The food is always hot and fresh. The portion sizes for the Katsu Curries are quite large so I...More

Lovely nice staff who guided us through the menu as we didnt gave a clue. Crisp prawn tails were yummy as were both the tender beef and chicken chillis. The optional seasoning was inspired. Best noodles ever!

It's nicely decorated and looks like a copycat version of Wegamama. However, it is not the same. The ramen broth was not authentic and tasted more Chinese than Japanese. The ramen noodles were not authentic either. However, the food was fresh and inexpensive.

There is a lot to like. Long shared benches to sit at. Good variety of noodle on offer. Prices quite reasonable and food is pretty good. Service fine. The downside is the noise. There is thankfully no background music but having adopted the unfortunate vogue...More

I don't think they do kids portions. They are not that expensive especially at lunchtime , so I would give it a try. The food is good & if they have a good appetite , they would probably not leave much.
