This restaurant on top of the hill is a great place to have lunch. We came and jut had a spot. The perfect langoustines were the best what we ordered, but everything was tasteful and the service was fun.

We enjoyed a fantastic seafood lunch, great outdoor seating area, friendly staff and great value. Highly recommended.
If you not booked do not bother. Turned up 6.16pm hoping for food. Queued for 10 mins as others ordered takeaway and got tables. As got one from counter someone came out from back and told us no places to sit and they are not...taking any more takeaway orders for 45 mins.More
Called in whilst driving around the Trotterniish Peninsula, easy to miss as not v well signposted, v busy when we arrived but polite staff apolised about delay, extensive fish based menu, we ate Cullen Skink and a toasted tuna sandwich, v tasty esp the soup...that was v creamy, reasonably priced. Many thanks, we will call backMore
Very good meal, simple but well cooked food. The prices are OK for the location. Service is fast and friendly. The view is stunning when you catch some sun ! Book ! It's often crowded.
During a long day of hiking around isle of Skye, was a wonderful break. Salmon salad was delicious, so much salmon. Lentil soup was great. My partner had a chicken sandwich he loved. Great views from the restaurant. Staff were very friendly. Bathrooms clean. Bright...and adorable restaurant.More
I took a couple of tourist clients to The Galley for lunch. These folks have a real interest in food and have eaten in some of the best restaurants in the UK. The talked about the Galley all day long. So impressed with quality, value...and above all, freshness. Superb guys.More
Food and service was great, even if the sauce on the seafoodpasta was a bit unbalanced. You have to save room for the crème brûlée! The view is also awesome, and we enjoyed watching the sea lions while we ate.
Excellent fresh local seafood as well as famil-friendly fish ‘n chips, scampi etc. Wife had grilled lobster with garlic butter, and I had calamari with salad. The chips are now much improved - properly crisp and fried! Beers and wine available by the glass. Good...value, busy in the summer (so you need to book if you’re eating in) and closes after 8pm, so book early!More
Nice family restaurant with great food and service. The langoustine were light delicious and light yet filling. The prawns were delicious as well. Table next to us had the scallops and they looked great.
Great selection fresh seafood on the menu lovely intimate little restraunt set in beautiful scenery. Food was very reasonably prices as were drinks a definite must for a visit for seafood foodies
Came here for a birthday lunch with a group of 10, should have absolutely reviewed before now as I’ve visited about 4 or 5 times now. One of the best places for food in skye without a doubt. They have an amazing selection of fresh...local produce available with exceptional value for money. Waiting staff were excellent as always and were really attentive and made sure we were all looked after. A lovely day made even better by this wonderful lunch!More
Njam, this food is amazing! We had the day specials: trio of salmon and breaded king prawns and it was really good. Big meals also. It’s a nice place to sit and the waiter was very nice. Definitely recommend it!
Very poor service. We had maybe a 13 yea old girl waiting on us and she was not good. We waited a very long time to get someone to even get us a drink. The food was also less to be desired.
This was a great holiday date location for my wife and I. A great meal, dessert, and drinks for a reasonable price. My wife and I were 'on holiday' and visited the town of Uig in Skye. It's a small town with only a few...dining options, and most were well booked up. But we happened upon Chef Thomas in the local pub, got to chatting, and he found us a spot two days later. Thank goodness he did. We ordered some local beers and had the Seafood Platter, and we were glad we did! It was AMAZING! Langostines, Scallops, Salmon, Calamari, crabs, muscles. And everything was so well prepared! Succulent, tasty, nthing overdone. Then we ordered a raspberry cheesecake with Raspberry and white chocolate ice cream, on a recommendation from our server. And that was great too! Now, i'm from Rhode Island, which is a state well known for Calamari. And i know a thing or two about those fisheys. I had been worried about a Scottish take on calamari might be. But it was different and still great! Thanks again to the whole staff for an amazing dinner! I'd recommend it to anyone passing through the area!More
