Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went to the new store in Aviemore, A young female ‘Emma D’ counter staff member helped me choose the items I needed to host a book club brunch the other Aviemore ladies could only dream of. She was an absolute credit to the Harry Gow...family brand. She certainly knew her stuff! I popped in again another day to find out she’s a floating staff member which saddened me, but is also great she gets to give a wide range of the Harry Gow customers a true service with a smile. Would 100 recommend the store and its wonderful staff. Liz CMore

We visited Dornoch and bought a package of their shortbread. WOW! It really is sensational. We also bought some bread for later. Can’t wait to try it.

First tasted Harry Gows Dream Rings from the Co-ops in Kyle of Lochalsh and Broadford on the Isle of Skye a couple of years ago. Rediscovered them from the Dornoch Branch of Harry Gows last week, and bought more of them, some morning rolls and...some filled rolls from their Inverness culloden Tower Road place. Best stuff I’ve tasted in a long while. Their rolls are awesome, the filled rolls packed with filling. But the Dream Rings are just a wee taste of that quintessential Scottish bakery style cake that reminds me of home and childhood. Harry Gows is a must visit if you’re in Inverness or it’s catchment area.More

I am based in London but lived in Inverness 1995-1998 and had very happy memories of an H Gow pie, so always try to sample same when I visit. I was up with the kids this August and indulged in a hot pie and sausage...roll. They were immense and knock G r e g g s into a cocked hat. It's just as well there isn't an H Gow establishment near me down here or I'd be in there way too much.More
