We visited here for a Sunday carvery. There was five of us. When entering it seemed a bit off-putting but were shown to a restaurant at the rear of the Inn. Well decorated and clean. The staff seemed quite friendly. We all ordered the carvery. When called up we went to the serving counter. There was a fair choice of... More

Recommended for the carvery & it didn't disappoint, fresh hot & plenty of it. Only down fall is the parking, it's limited to parking on the main road (which isn't ideal with elderly family members or children) or using residents parking in the adjacent flats! However could not take the friendly staff or the food.

I visited as part of a boat crew moored up at the marina nearby and was recommended this place by my colleagues who always visit when they're passing through the Caledonian canal. The pub itself is a quaint little place, very warm and cosy and I imagine lovely on a winter's evening. We had a pint in the bar (with... More

Having heard some very good reports about Clachnaharry Inn we were looking forward to our visit . We received a warm welcome and were pleased with the selection of food on the menu. Starters, soup and a black pudding dish were very tasty. Main course--the roast and a gammon steak were disappointing. The gammon steak fared better than the roast... More

Bit out of the centre of Inverness so you need a car. We went on a Monday night so it was fairly quiet. We ordered the roast which was beef, huge plate with lots of veggies. Unfortunately I think the beef was from the Sunday roast as it was very tough. Roast potatoes were yummy and plenty on the plate.... More

Had a quick carvery dinner on a Sunday afternoon. Quick service, pub food to a reasonable standard and well conditioned cask ales. Some of the carvery was not perfect but we all enjoyed it.

We visited on Sunday for the carvery, which was very nice however the rest of the menu was very limited, quite a tight dining area,.

THE CLACHNAHARRY INN is a great 'craic' pub with emphasis on being friendly.
There is always something going on.

The 'Clach' is an institution within the local area and serves 4 ales and 1 cider alongside other draught beers, lagers and ciders.

We are an informal pub that delivers highland hospitality and great food, and what's better is that we love what we do!

We are also a dog friendly pub! Pooches are welcome in our bar and beer garden while our restaurant and lounge bar are dog free - they even have their own biscuit barrel and water bowls!

We also have a Take-Away Menu available 7 days a week. Simply pop in and have a drink while you wait for your freshly cooked meal, or phone us in advance and pick it up on your way past!
