Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The phone box messages were full and I don't know if it's a restaurant or what the websites hopeless. I looked for nearby restaurants and disappeared quite well reviewed but they don't seem interested in business or answering their phone

Was very disappointed by this restaurant. Based on the reviews I thought the pizza would be amazing - especially being made in a traditional pizza oven. I was wrong. The pizza was soggy and quite honestly, I could’ve gotten the same pizza from a kebab...shop. I wouldn’t return here.More

Wowzah! I used to pass this place regularly and was always a bit skeptical about the marketing claims. Oh my how wrong I was and hike right they are! I don’t even particularly like pizza but this place has it absolutely nailed. A simple margarita...was profoundly excellent. Is sometimes easy to think of pizza in fast food or takeaway terms but this little artisan pizzeria elevates it to something quite exceptional and makes you believe you are no longer in Inverness but in a small backstreet of Napoli where pizza has been practised for generations. It truly blew my mind. Oh, and service is truly beyond compare. You would struggle to find a comparable welcome in the Highlands and that’s not lip service. This tiny pizzeria have their game down without any question. Go visit and expect to be surprised and happy with such simple food.More

The family at AtlasAdventured highly recommends dining here! After a long day of traveling, we arrived at our hotel in Inverness fairly late and we were starving. While our stay had restaurants on site, we were with our toddler and in need of something a...bit more informal. Pizza sounded like the perfect option. After some research, we decided to check out Cheese & Tomatin. Such a great choice! The inside is cozy and smells delicious. They have a great food and drink selection, and there is also a kids pizza option. Our server was great giving us recommendations. We were wanting something traditional, and something unique. She recommended the 4 Cheese Pickled Walnut Pizza. It sounded so strange, but we are open and willing to try new things. It was so delicious! Super cheesy, the perfect amount of blue cheese, and the walnuts were so different, and so addicting. Our Diavola was very greasy, but delicious, and the kids pepperoni pizza was perfect. The crust is so good! Thank you for opening up our taste buds! We will definitely be back next time we’re in the area.More

We enjoyed our first meal in Inverness at Cheese & Tomatin. This cute pizza place has phenomenal pizza and a wonderful gal running the place. Our family had three different pizzas and they were all outstanding. The garlic oil was delicious and great to dip...our pizza crust in. I’m sorry we didn’t get her name, but the very kind gal running the restaurant gave us incredible advice and recommendations for our visit to Inverness. We highly, highly recommend Cheese & Tomatin! Thank you for a wonderful meal and your kindness!More

We came without a reservation; I don’t think they take them, we couldn’t get through when we tried to call. The restaurant is quite small, cozy and informal. The mushroom pizza and salad we ordered were fresh and delicious and came out quickly. The servers...were very friendly and never rushed us despite people waiting for a table. Our meal ended with a delicious tiramisu. We would return if we weren’t just here on vacation.More

Such tasty pizza. I've had many pizzas in my life including in Italy and these pizzas were among the best I've ever had. The dough was excellent, light and fluffy. Toppings were generous and so tasty

After travelling all day , we decided to try this pizza place for dinner. When we arrived the manager and waiter, were very attentive and took our drinks and pizza order quickly. I ordered the special off the specials board without cheese. which was located...on our table and reasonably speedily our pizzas arrived. As I was eating mine i realised that half the ingredients were missing, I mentioned this to the waiter and he took off to the kitchen with my pizza. He came back and said the special I ordered wasn't available. This was the new special? He was difficult to understand talking very fast and muffled. I just looked at him perplexed. He removed the board and brought me out a new pizza minus the sun dried tomatoes, that my husband said I did not like. The waiter asked is it ok. I said no. He then said he would get the manager. He came out, while the waiter was discussing with him in front of us what happened but making it sound to him that I had ordered the pizza after he had told me the special had changed. The manager then said to him wheres the board. He said he had removed it. So he said he would cook me another pizza. The waiter did offer me a drink. Which I said no thanks. I still had a full drink on the table. I was so stressed, I asked for the pizza in a box to takeaway. I had lost my appetite and my husband had finished his pizza. The waiter did ask me to check the pizza before we left to make sure it was ok. I opened and closed the box. We paid and left. Here is a picture of the pizza I received. 😒 which cost 14.95. Totally ruined our evening. Wont be returning here again.More
