Castle tavern is everything you’d want in a small local pub. It’s castle backdrop and beer garden are beautiful all year round, as well as the warm inviting interior. I live close by and often pop in for a Guinness or two when I can....More

This quaint pub is lovely. We visited here three years ago and again last week and although there has been a change of workforce, the friendly welcome was just as good. The staff are very efficient, friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them...More

We stopped here our first night in Inverness. Quick walk from the city center. The Haggis and fish was great. We enjoyed the whiskey too!

We had a great dinner. The Cullen Skink was delicious. They were accommodating for our kids. Making kid-sized portions of the regular menu items. They had a great whisky and gin list.

What a shame. It's a lovely pub with nice beers. But unfortunately my food was below par. I spoke to the owner and explained and she made adjustments to our bill. The customer service is excellent, but I'm afraid they let the place down when...More
