Fabulous spot for booklovers. I didn't know it was a café, too. I was following my tourist map and just came across it.
This bookstore has everything: giant fireplace, huge selection of books, and beautiful architecture as it's in an old church. Great place to warm up or get out of the rain, or to simply check out an amazing selection of used books. Be sure to stop...More
I could have spent days in here. I wish I was able to buy more books but I would have been over my luggage limit. I found a wonderful old print of Edinburgh Castle that I gave my boyfriend for Christmas.

Before it closed down the cafe here was fabulous. Still worth a visit if you are interested in second hand books, or just to see the fascinating interior of this old warehouse.
Selection is very eclectic, mainly travel books and obscure fiction- not a good place if you're looking for a specific book but if you're just looking for something new (or old), this is a decent place. The building used to be a church.
