Friendly and relaxed high street pub/restaurant with a good selection of food and drink. It's also dog friendly which is great for our four legged companion.

We stopped off here for lunch. The toasties we had were full of the tasty fillings as opposed to a scrumpy amount. The chips were proper chips not the skinny French fries. A classic pub with an olde world feel. The staff were all knowledgable...and polite and knew the menu without having to rush off and find answers. We went here several times during our breakMore

We visited the pub whilst staying in the town. We were greeted at the door and although no tables were available we were guided to the bar until one was ready. The friendly staff were able to recommend the Venison Curry and I was not...disappointed. Highly recommended!More

My wife and I went here twice out of the 4 nights that we visited Fort William it was hard to get a table any night but that was due to shortage of staff in the hotel and others also putting pressure it due to...staff getting pinged. T he first night my wife had Balmoral chicken which was a very large helping and very tasty I had a steak which I ended up getting the wrong one as the waitress got mine and another customers mixed up but mistakes happen and the manager apologized and offered me another or a free drink (I took the free drink) and that didn't stop us returning another night but we couldn't get a table but returned the following evening and the manager even recognised us (IMPRESSED) and onother great meal was had HIGHLY RECOMMEND ITMore
