Expectations exceeded in every area. Had not expected too much given location but menu , service and meal quality were outstanding. Wine list was very good.

Stopped in here for lunch as the place next door did not have appetizing food, and we were pleasantly surprised. Very well-prepared food served up by a charming waitress. Nice dining room.

We went to Browns at the recommendation of the B&B. The food was wonderful with the chowder and chicken supreme the standout. The service was rushed and we felt that we were being pushed out the door without having time to enjoy the food.

Not knowing what time we would get to Fort William we had not booked anywhere, a look on trip advisor and we found this place, fortunately they could get us in for a late sitting. It is right at the foot of Ben Nevis, an amazing location. As we were late we skipped starters though the choice was good. Mains,... More

I had the daily soup - pea and asparagus - very tasty, my wife had the smoked salmon starter with onion and dill - she said it was delicious. As main courses we had lamb- tasty and well prepared and vegetable curry- I loved... More

We ate here on the last night of our West Highland Way walk, and enjoyed it enormously. Very good food & wine, served by friendly staff. Booking seems to be essential during the "season".

We walked in off the street, needless to say the Matradee wasn't impressed, realising that she could fit us in and gain some extra covers. Menu looked interesting and provided the opportunity for so culinary class. The taster selection starters were exceptional. However it was very noticeable that some of the lower level waiting staff, looked like they'd been dressed... More
