This is a lovely place. The food is delicious and the view beautiful. We watched an otter having his lunch whilst we were there. He was having seafood too!

Good quality seafood, with large portions, in a beautiful location. The staff were particularly friendly.

My friend and I were there last Tuesday for dinner and were happy to see other diners enjoying a meal too . We had the main of fish and the other of scallops which were very nice plus tasty. The only issue was that the fish dish was over cooked. It didn't take away from the meal but was noticed.... More

My wife and I have enjoyed an annual trip to Scotland, every November, for the last 8 years and make a point of visiting The Crannog each trip. Fantastic location and a warm, welcoming interior always sets the evening off well. The Staff are always very pleasant and helpful and the service is friendly but professional. The menu is always... Excellent location on the loch side and very good fresh food with friendly staff. I did it as a combination with a boat trip on the loch. Recommended.

Been here with my fiance and she had Oysters which were fresh and delicious. I had the three course lunch menu. To begin with I had the walnut and goats cheese salad which was very good but to my surprise I had a bit of walnut shell left inside. It didn't put me off as I am not a fussy... More

We had a beautiful dining experience here courtesy of Katrina! Our very picky three year old was treated like royalty by Katrina who celebrated The Crannog, it's history and it's best fare with I assumed excellence! I knew by the reviews that this place would be good and locally it's hailed but the personal service was seven star! A wonderful... More

We like seafood and you can't fault the quality in this place. The service wasn't great. The drinks came after we had started the meal, I had to ask for them several times, and when they arrived they were wrong. I put it down to a communication issue rather than a general recurring issue, however at thes prices it's important... More

The Crannog remains a quite simply brilliant eating emporium. Not just fish either - indeed I had the haunch of venison this evening. Simply melt in the mouth. Eight very happy customers out of a party of eight. Well done The Crannog.

Thank Steve B
