What did you think of The Waterside Seafood Restaurant?
The lady from our hotel booked us a table here and we were so glad she was able to reserve for us. Everything here was excellent! And who would think that there’s a restaurant from a very far place not everyone knows of with a...More
The first thing to say is that this restaurant only opens Monday to Friday, even in the summer although it says it's open at the weekend on the website, we tried to book on 6th October because it said it was open. It closed on...More
Visited on a Tuesday night. This is a small, intimate little restaurant. We called around 6pm and got a reservation for 8:15 pm. Service was friendly and good. We shared two appetizers. The squid was perfectly battered and amazing as was the mushroom dish. I...More

This wonderful restaurant is actually an old train station and has a great ambiance. Reservations are needed, so don't wait! Book now! There were five of us in our party and every single one of us felt like we had one of the best meals...More
Being located at the train station in Kyle of Lochalsh seems quite strange. The seafood is excellent and the service was good too. Local ingredients and cooked in unique ways. Very small place but excellent for a celebration and a real treat!
This restaurant is quaint. Great service. Loads of character. Gorgeous tasty food. Decent filling portion sizes. Brilliant attention to detail, even the side salad was really tasty. A real hidden gem. What a find!
This is a small restaurant so make sure you have reservations. A good variety of very fresh fish and shellfish is offered. We had four starters and four mains among us and each dish was absolutely terrific.
My wife enjoyed the black pudding and goats cheese. I ordered the smoked seafood platter, which was all fish apart from a small bowl of smoked mussels. Next time I will order the scallops in Thai sauce.
perhaps, i was expecting too much based on the reviews i read. perhaps i should have had wine with my meal to improve the experience. perhaps i should have gone to the little shack that serves incredibly good seafood at a fraction of the price...More
