I stayed at the Golf View Hotel and Spa, of which the Links Brasserie is part, for a few days recently and dined there on the first evening of my stay. We booked a table on arrival but neglected to point out that one of the party was disabled, not realising that the restaurant was on two levels; but full... More

We stayed at a bed and breakfast and our host recommended to go to the Brasserie for the fish. Unfortunately, the fish was only average and the place a bit cold .

Had lunch there recently and there's good and bad. Good - lovely location and views. Staff very pleasant. Food was lovely, well cooked and presented. Bad - the time taken between ordering and receiving food was ridiculous. One of the deserts was ridiculous, just a couple of mini croissants with butter and jam. There is a spa in the hotel... More

After booking a Festive Lunch over the phone our group of 3 arrived only to be given the normal 'mini novel' of a menu. When we asked to see the Festive Menu we were told there wasn't one for Lunch time and it was only for Christmas Day. I had been online and already seen it so asked the girl... More

We got there 19:40 on a Sunday evening. It was about two-thirds full. When I asked for a table I was told all the twos were occupied. There were tables set for 4 and 6, but these were not available. I asked when the kitchen closed, 9pm. So I said we'd wait, have a drink on the terrace. The manager... More

A fantastic setting on the banks of The Moray Firth, lovely conservatory which is cozy as well as beautiful. Food menu diverse and all that came out looked lovely, as was our meal. Tasty and not overpriced, we will defo come again.

I've been reading some unfortunate reviews of meals here at The Links Brasserie. Our experience was for an afternoon coffee and dessert. So, I cannot speak for a full meal but I shall say that the location and the ambiance is quite beautiful. A large greenhouse atrium attached to the hotel with a stunning view of the Moray Firth. Our... More

Evening meal and service were reasonably good although somewhat limited in choice . Two of our party of four were given proper seats at the correct height . Myself and my daughter had to sit on seats against a wall which were much lower than a comfortable height . On taking the bill to reception I was told that a... More
