My Fiancé took me here as a surprise valentines meal. We had always heard great reviews and were excited to try the food. For the price you pay, it is a disgrace. Not once were we asked how our meal was, or if we needed any refreshments. Two of the employees walked away while my partner was speaking. The korma... More

We are regular attendees to which can only be described as the best "curry house" around Elgin and maybe Moray. Food is always plentiful, so much so that we normally go home with left overs. Great tasteful menu and we've never had a bad meal! I even had my birthday lunch here. The lunch deals are extremely good value for... More

I was meeting two friends with their 4 year old daughter at the Qismat on a Saturday at 12pm. Having left my hometown of Elgin over a decade ago, I calculated that it was likely I hadn't been a visitor to this restaurant since the 1990s! I now wish I'd visited prior to my recent meal, for all the right... More

It was quiet so we cheekily asked if we could have lots of small dishes to share between us instead of ordering as normal and they brought us out a small banquet. had a lovely time with friends tasting the dishes and even asked for a final bowl of tarka dahl which they brought out at no extra charge! Will... More

110% the best Indians i've ever been to (sitting in and taking away). The service is excellent and everyone is well presented. The food is of a high standard clearly only the best is used. The buffet on a Monday night is good value for money as is everything else. worth a visit if your not local.

the service was very quick even though we were some of many people who all seemed to arrive at the same time. The chickpea curry I had was great but could have done with a tad more spice. the tandoori vegetable naan bread was absolutely delicious and my word the biggest I have ever seen in my life! Would definitely... More

We went in late wondering if the restaurant was still open. I ordered prawn pathia and bhindi bhaji. I know not when the prawns were introduced to the sauce but they were not good friends. The bhindi bhaji was ghastly. One redeeming feature was the nan, very nice. My two companions dishes were not great either. I realise we went... More
