Quick tasty food, friendly service£ we had calzone and burgers. No problem asking for a change- I recommend garlic mushroom and cheese on the vegan burger and truffle and parmesan chips.

Just arrived in Elgin after a long day travelling. Fancied a pizza and wasn't disappointed. Lots of topping and well cooked. Great Americano as well.

Recently dinned at scribbles, have done many times over the past few years but this latest experience has got to be the worst, my pasta carbonara was nothing but a plate of greasy spaghetti that didn’t resemble a carbonara in the slightest, I also ordered...a bottle of water, I specifically stated could I have a bottle of still water as most places give you tap water and I sure at sh.t ain’t drinking that poison, I knew as soon as I saw the glass it wasn’t bottled water it was straight from the tap with ice cubes and a slice of lemon, the smell of cleaning detergent from the glass as well as chlorine from the water and the thought of allowing that fluoride filled junk into my system was enough for me just to leave it and go without. My partners macaroni was ok but the garlic bread was just heated in a micro as no colour to it and still doughy, don’t think il bother going back but if I end up outvoted il stick to a pizza, surly can’t get that wrong but they sure can’t get pasta dishes right! Also a lot of tea should be hot I think that was maybe hot tap water as it defo wasn’t boiling water!More

Come here on a regular basis and have never been disappointed by the quality of food or the staff. All food is reasonably priced and certainly in line with other eateries.

Great food, service and excellent value. Very busy even on a Tuesday night which shows how good this place is. Lots of choice on the menu (both food and drink).

We stopped here for lunch. Our group of seven was seated quickly and the waiter was a polite and friendly young man. We ordered a few pizzas to try some different versions they had available and both were excellent! I’d definitely recommend this place to...those visiting nearbyMore

Called before 9am on Father's day expecting to be fully booked but was greeted by a friendly chap who happily booked me in. After finishing work late myself we ended up 20 minutes late for our reservation and still our table by the window was...available. Amazed on a busy father's day and appreciated they'd kept our table! Our initial waitress had short dark brown hair and was absolutely lovely, had a few other staff afterwards delivering drinks and giving a checkback and all were fab. I usually go for a jackfruit BBQ pizza but chose the cannelloni this time and wow, it was great. Growing up in an Italian family I couldn't fault it, even the portion size was perfect. Piping hot and really filled me up. I had the mocktail (first on the list, always forget the name) and it's delicious every time. We'd ordered a side salad which didn't come but the sides of coleslaw and chips were absolutely massive so really it worked out perfectly. Staff were super polite over this tiny mishap, to be honest the salad was us just trying to behave ourselves! A really, really special treat for us given my dad had traveled over 100 miles to see us and the staff just made it such a lovely evening after an exhausting day. I always send tourists to Scribbles when they ask for local eateries and will continue to do so. Some staff during our visit seemed new and I wish them all the best!More

Lovely welcoming staff, who went the extra mile to be helpful and professional. Food was excellent, tasty and good quality. Had read a couple of negative reviews but can only assume they were posted by jealous competitors. I have nothing to gain by being anything...but honest....it was excellent.More

We came here for a meal with friends. Our starters took a little while to come out but it was pretty busy. Our mains came out and the food wasn’t the greatest. My husbands meat feast calzone pizza only had salami in it and no...other meat at all. Not exactly a meat feast. He also said it as very salty. Two of us had chilli beef nachos which were like cardboard. After our main we sat for over half an hour before anyone came to ask if we were finished and clear our plates. We were going to have dessert but the selection wasn’t the best so we decided to give it a miss. They seemed to be concentrating more on their takeaway orders rather than their customers sitting in. We were also pretty shocked that they bought in their pizza bases and didn’t make them. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t go back.More

The service was excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble when we asked them. The food was very good and bearing in mind there was 8 of us everything was right with no problems whatsoever. Excellent value for money too....We all had a very enjoyable evening and will definitely go again.More

Popped in for breakfast and was very pleased tmy coffee and pancakes with bacon and pecans. It was delicious, would definitely go again.
