Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We got the wagyu sirloin beef from the shop and it was excellent, one of the best cuts of beef we had in a long time. We also had cheesecake which was so good! Highly recommend a visit when you’re in the area!

THANK YOU for organizing a self-shop just outside your doors, very modern, very efficient and super clean! Also, this will make us avoid queuing and stressing inside, especially if one has to get just some eggs or potatoes. If only all the other shops in...town would copy your system, it would REALLY helps in reducing the spreading of the virus. God bless you for thinking about others and not just your profits! <3More

I usually visit this place when I'm in Elgin. The lunch is always great especially the pot of tea you get. I would recommend the quiche followed by apple pie and cream (delicious) They have a good variety of food on the menu, and the...staff are very friendly and always will in to help. The farm shop stocks lots of local produce and has a well stocked deli section, you can also find some unusual gifts for that special person. Can certainly recommend this place.More

Came in as a family and had a lunch. Good menu and enjoyed looking round the farm shop after. A lot of products on sale and the veg is the best in town. A lot better than the veg that is on offer at big...supermarkets in town.More

This is a great place for that something different, as well as your normal farm shop produce, it can be a little more expensive than the supermarkets but I like to support the local businesses, you know the produce is fresh and hasn’t travelled hundreds...of miles.More

Would have been 5 if they provided a better selection for vegetarian/vegans the choice is quite poor. My husband had the full breakfast & said it was great but choice provided for vegetarians is poor - they could offer a veggie sausage, bacon, hash browns...or tattie scone non offered just eggs (which I don’t eat). Hope to see an improvementMore

Very busy and had to wait for a table but nice things to look at in the shop. They could easily expand the number of tables by shifting a few shelves. Takes longer to order as one has to be seated, then choose, then go...up to counter to order but it works. My omelette was excellent. Large range of choices. Would definitely visit again if in Elgin.More

Had lunch there with my mum. Service was good and lunch was really nice mum loved the salad dressing. There was 1 waitress there with her fake eye lashes and she looked so unhappy being there. It was more the face of 'do i need...to be here'. Apart from her it was brill and i loved the afarm shop full of amazing items and really good priced. I walked out with some fresh fruit to have that night and it was so fresh and wonderful to taste something so good and succulent. Will 100% be back.More

After walking the dog at Millbuies popped in to Allarburn for a coffee. Although the pricing and quality is spot on there is insuffient seating and you can queue for a bit which is disappointing. I'd like to see more tables and even table sharing...introduced.More

We had called in just to buy some Cockburn's black pudding and decided to have lunch while we were there. It was very busy (always a good sign) and we had to wait a few minutes to be seated. The food was delicious and very...generous portion size. On checking out the meals being delivered to adjacent tables every one looked great. Excellent value for money.More

We stopped here for a Monday lunch. Wait to be seated. It was very busy. All clean/tidy, friendly/helpful staff. I had soup of the day (cream of mushroom), brown bread and a glass of milk. It was just right and very tasty. A good price...too. A fine farm shop.More
