We travel from Burntisland to eat here. Chicken soup is absolutely my favourite. They obviously use the finest ingredients for the selection of meals, soups and sandwiches. Cakes and desserts lovely too, and tea served in an old fashioned pot. Staff very friendly as is...the owner, George. Highly recommend.More

Lovely cups of coffee - however scone and Victoria sponge were disappointing - very surprised that staff were not wearing masks as it is a legal requirement in cafes when serving customers, especially the elderly.

This great little tea room was absolutely first class. We stopped in for a late lunch and from the second we entered we were glad we did. It has an old fashioned feel to it and has lots of photos and postcards of old Perth...under the glass tops of the tables. We were served almost immediately and we were so pleased that we chose stovies for our meal. Piping hot, tasty and served with oatcakes. Excellent as were our desserts and coffees. The service was very efficient and friendly and this is a place we intend to return to on our next visit to the city.More

Strolling through Perth, looking for somewhere, other than the usual, for coffee and a bite to eat and came across this beautiful little gem. Service and food was excellent and the ambiance very pleasant. Prices not bad either and no riff-raff. Highly recommended.

We had planned a day out in Perth to celebrate my friend's 50th birthday, and other reviews told us that Effie's was the place to try for an afternoon tea. We were NOT disappointed! Although we turned up without a reservation, we were accommodated without...fuss. The staff were lovely, the food outstanding and the setting quaint and cosy without being too cheesy. We had tea in beautiful pots, the freshest sandwiches, scones and cakes to die for. Can't wait for our next outing in Perth!More

We were down in Blairgowrie at Altamount Manor for a family weekend for my 50th birthday. Effie’s provided the most amazing afternoon tea and barbecue Her and her staff were very attentive and the food was absolutely delicious. We can’t praise them enough! X

patty, I really don't recall. There is no shortage of places in Perth that will produce bacon rolls that could win prizes. Try Gillies, even M&S will sell them and freshly made. Sorry I couldn't give the answer you wanted.
