I've often stopped here for coffee in the circular cafe with windows giving out over the fields to the hills of the Grampians, Sidlaws and Strathmore in between. Food is of high Bistro quality and tastily assembled. The contiguous farm is becoming famed for its wonderful fresh ice cream which is widely sold in other outlets in the area. There... More

Second time we've visited for lunch. Great little farm cafe. Food is tasty and good produce used. Soup was delicious and great sandwiches. Haven't managed an ice cream yet but we will be back.

Family stopped for lunch at this converted farm building. Attractive surroundings and nice-looking menu. However, staff overworked and daughter's Panini inedible due to a long, black hair twined lovingly round it. Suggest hairnets for food preparation staff. We won't be back.

Ice cream here is delicious. Lots of different flavours. But... I was here with a friend specifically for coffee and cake, it was my treat and my choice where to go so I chose here thinking the coffee cakes would be just as good as the ice cream. Wrong. I wanted a mocca, which fair enough if you don't do... More

Only three people serving so took a little time to get our order. But it was well worth the wait. Food brilliantly fresh and good value proportions. Would highly recommend. Believe it is a working farm and animals to see when weather good. Head for Bankfoot on A9 north and follow the signs. We'll be back

This is the place worth a detour from the A9: a real working farm diversifying into local produce, fantastic non-synthesised ice cream being one of them. Coffees and teas are also excellent, and we'll certainly return when we next head northwards... and southwards!

We saw this interesting signboard in the midst of a long, and rather boring drive to Inverness from Edinburgh, and took this detour to Stewart Dairy. It was a welcome break, and certainly worth the drive.. cheerful staff, nice ambience, clean surroundings and yummy ice-cream. Had to drag ourselves back to A9. Would gladly go back again if we can. Not... More

We called here on the holidays. My husband and I had a drink a cake. I had a raspberry and white chocolate scone and my husband had the raspberry and white chocolate cheesecake. They were both really tasty. The staff were warm and very friendly. We were so impressed we decided to go back for breakfast, it was so good... More

Wow the brainfreeze is worth it as the flavours on offer are just simply tantalising. The detour from the A9 is worth every drop of fuel. I could get fat(ter) very easily sampling the exquisite flavours on offer. Theyve even got kinder flavoured. The staff are on hand to offer friendly advice (if you really cant decide).
