Decided to try the Everest Inn as we hadnt had a curry in a while and we had never been in before. Booked a table for two online without any problems and received confirmation mail in the afternoon. Had a wee wait when we got there but that was our fault as we were early. Service was good, staff were friendly and covid practices were followed. We thoroughly enjoyed the food, poppadoms and chutneys to start and l had house special starter and my wife had bhaji and samosa mix. All were very tasty. For mains l had Nepal duck with Peshwari naan and my wife Malebar prawns with boiled rice. Both mains were delicious. Two pints of Kingfisher and two pints of lime and soda completed our bill which was under £40 with the government discount but l would be happy to pay the full price as it was well worthy. We will definitely return.

Just paid our first visit to the Everest Inn and we were very impressed by the welcome and the food. It was very quiet, probably not helped by the weather but we were made to feel very welcome and the food was excellent, being freshly cooked while we waited. We enquired about the naan bread which was the best we had ever had and were not surprised to learn that it was made on the premises. Having read a 1 star review yesterday, I can only imagine that the author was somewhere else as we could not fault it.

My family loves Indian food and we eat out at Indian Restaurants several times each year. This is unanimously the best quality Indian we have visited since moving to Scotland 5 years ago .Whilst strictly speaking it is classed as a Hima.layan restaurant , the Indian food was perfectly spiced as were the dishes from Nepal that we tried.I have never seen my whole family clean their plates like that. The manager/owner was very attentive and the service was brilliant

Q. How much lamb would you expect to get in a lamb curry? A. Enough that it doesn't enter your mind to actually count how many pieces there are. Q. How many pieces at Everest? A. Five, 1+4, 10÷2, 5. I can't remember the name of the curry, but it was served in medium sized dish and was a dry thick sauce, consisting of onion. Unfortunately the onion wasn't fully cooked. The taste was decent, but only five pieces of lamb! The chapati were good. We visited on Saturday night at 9pm and were the only customers. The owner/manager told us that food prices had gone up so much at his suppliers, that this was the best they could do. He would look after me next time though! There won't be a next time. The four of us felt ripped off. Get yourself around the corner to a similar but much better establishment. P.S. Everest do Meerkat half price meals, Sunday to Thursday, which makes me feel even more ripped off.

Dear Customer, thank you for reviewing our page. You did enjoy our food only problem in pieces of lamb . Yes there were 5 pieces of lamb dish { Hariyali lamb}. You didn't explain the size of lamb pieces. It is a good size and enough for a portion. If you have any enquiry let me know at perth@everestinnscotland.co uk. Thank you.

After a dreadful and relatively expensive experience last night at a mixed cuisine restaurant in Perth we came here at the recommendation of a Perth local business person we met in a local pub. We got 5-6 foodie recommendations but picked Everest Inn as we really fancied a curry. Coming from Tyneside we love our curries and Newcastle and South Shields have some fantastic venues. Everest Inn proved to be a great choice. Lovely and friendly staff, safe but none intrusive Covid regs compliance and the most important bit, fantastic food. Interestingly the place was at maximum capacity by 6.30pm. I wonder why? Best bit.......a pile of poppadoms with pickles, 2 full starters, 2 mains, 2 portions of rice, 1 coke, 2 Gin and Tonics, a half pint of Kingfisher and a 660cc bottle of Everest Lager ( yes lot of alcohol but we are not discussing my drinking habits here 😁) Just over £60.00 In total. Wow. I absolutely recommend this place if you like a good curry. Well done Everest Inn.

We booked a table for 8pm, we were left standing at the door whils the staff hurried around ran off their feet. It was far too busy with not enough staff. The couple next to us waited 2 hours for their food when it came the waiter had taken it to a different table first then realised and took it away. The staff were friendly enough but very poor service and the portions aren't great. I wouldn't go back.

Could you please kindly tell us in which meals your portions were not great so that we could provide you compensation and also improve those in the future. Please note that, we are award winning resturant in the town and we never compermise our food quality. Again, thank you for taking your time to share your experience. We are sorry that it was not a pleasant one. However, we hope that you give us another chance to show you the best we can offer as your support is extremely valuable for a small business like us at these unprecedented times.

Are you tired with your usual food choices .. are you feeling uninspired... ? Call Everest Inn Perth sit in or place an order for delivery. We did .. the food was delivered piping hot within1 hour of our order being placed by no other than Bhola himself with his usual friendly chat and a big smile. Naan breads, rices, Chicken Nepal, bhuna and popadoms a proper feast after a complex week and it was truly delicious. At a time when travel is restricted his Chicken Chilli Momos (off menu) transported me straight back to Kathmandu .. yuuum! Nothing is too much trouble for Bhola and his team and whether you sit down or take away the service quality and choice of food is second to none. Go and be spoiled by Bhola and his wonderful team at Everest Inn Perth.

We ate here a couple of weeks ago during a short stay in Perth and we’re so pleased that we did. The food was delightful and it’s obvious that they take a lot of pride in preparing and serving excellent dishes. We had the Sekuwa and Bhutuwa which were really enjoyable. The restaurant was roughly half full the night we were there and the service was friendly and efficient. The tables are well spaced apart and there are 2 sanitising stations available. If we lived in Perth we would eat here frequently.

Popped in on a dreich, wet Sunday afternoon after a recommendation from a friend. Warm welcome from the 2 members of staff who were very friendly and attentive. After looking through the menu and talking to the staff about some of the dishes we made our choice. Haggis pakora and chicken tikka for the wife and tandoori duck and chilli chicken masala for myself. Poppadoms and selection of chutneys while we waited. All food was beautifully presented and very tasty. A bit hotter than I expected but then each chef has their own combination of spices and level of “ heat” in their dishes. Certainly warmed us up on a miserable day. Will be back again soon to try some of the Nepalese dishes. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves today but I have been told it is very popular in the evenings. Well worth a visit if you like Indian food and want to try some slightly different versions of your favourites. You won’t be disappointed.

Having been to the Everest we knew the quality of the food and service, so when we decided to invite friends round to celebrate a birthday, we thought a carry - out would be a good idea. The only place to go The Everest. I contacted Bhola and explained, asked him to cater for 6 people and deliver it the next day. What came was a complete selection of the finest food that one could expect. Our friends were delighted. Can't thank you enough Bhola and his team for making my birthday one to remember by all who came.

ok, don't understand the duff reviews of this eatery. had a few kerry oots from here, yup a few quid more expensive than other places but worth the quality. only Nepalese/ Indian I use in Perth now. was here start of June for a family meal to celebrate wife's birthday. food was fresh with enough meat in each dish, sides and starters were also upto scratch. Worth noting that the food is gluten free only thing not gluten free is the nan bread. we managed to source some and the owner was happy to heat and serve with our main meal...how many other establishments can offer this ? .

Went for dinner this evening and the food was fantastic. I wanted the Lamb madras but was worried that it might be too hot but the waiter said they could make it slightly milder and it was delicious, so was the peswarhi nan. The lamb was so tender that your fork went right through it, no need for a knife. My friends had the byriani and they also said it was great. We could not fault the restaurant, or staff, and are looking forward to going back to try other dishes.

I hate waste and always take food home if I can’t finish it in the restaurant but the food was so poor that I just left what I hadn’t eaten. The dishes we had made both my husband and I very thirsty as if they had msg in them and we both felt rather unwell overnight. We weren’t actually sick just bloated and felt nauseous. I won’t be going here again.

Since lockdown we have had 2 takeaways from Everest Inn. The food is just as delicious as it is when you are in the restaurant. Service is also very good and prompt. points to note are that the poppadoms are so crispy and tasty, and there is not a hint of oil on the paper bag. The nan breads are so light and tasty. Mushroom rice is also enhanced by being in the takeaway carton as the mushroom juices are squeezed throughout the rice - amazing! Will be back for more!!

We came here on a Tuesday night and had a lovely experience. The good was super - we live in Kinross and it was definitely worth the drive! Husband’s Lamb Karahi curry was delicious with tender slow cooked meat and lovely complex spice flavour. My chilli paneer dish was also top notch with delicate spice flavours and not too much heat (the menu says hot but I like chilli heat and found it on the lower end, it depends on what you’re used to). Friendly staff and attentive service by kind people. We will definitely be back and will bookmark for takeaway too. Thanks for a nice evening xx
