This is a nice pub. I like the old style and fire places. Good selection of drinks - beers of course, but gin too which I prefer (the next step would be to get more tonic choices other than Schweppes but I'm just being fussy). The menu has a good list of pub grubs. Food is ok but definitely not... More

The Moulin brewery is attached to the Hotel ! The food selection is great and the food, as always, is great too. Our well dog was allowed in but she is a lovely, well behaved, retriever.

If you're looking for a hearty meal and old pub charm in the Pitlochry area -- this is it. You can even bring a well-behaved dog. Meanwhile, the salmon and mashed potatoes is incredible. Great fish and chips. Haggis, neeps and tatties also on offer among a host of other mains and starters. Full bar and decent range of nonalcoholic... More

We've eaten and drunk in the Bar many a time and many a year. Inside the decor hasn't changed in that whole time. It's now tired and drab. The menu hasn't changed, either, which is OK if you only come back once or twice a year. The beer, of course, is excellent and worth the trip. This time we were... More

From a pint of their famous Braveheart ale through to classic pub grub this historic inn hits all the right buttons. Great surroundings and staff. Again if you have climbed Ben Vrackie this is the place to stop.

We stayed in Pitlochry and went for dinner to Moulin Hotel. We sat by the fire with our dog Camilla and had food and drinks. The atmosphere is quite friendly, we met a lot of people and we had a great night out chatting and having fun while drinking great beer and scotch. Special thanks goes to Dan, the bartender,... Had a meal here during hogmany. We have eaten here before and this visit was as good a previous visits. Good quality home cooked food using local produce reasonably priced and served in a cosy bar. Add in the fact that the Moulin has its own micro-brewery and you will be in for a good time here.

The Moulin hotel is an Old coaching inn founded in 1695. It retains its charm whilst offering its own microbrewed beers, the core being Braveheart, Ale of Athol and Old Remedial. The menu comprises usual pub food with a few additional particularly Scottish themed dishes including haggis & Scotsmans bonnet, a beef stew in a Yorkshire pudding. In winter there... More

We stopped by the Moulin hotel for a few drinks and a snack and we were not disappointed. It was a very cozy place that I did not want to leave. The beer was great and the fried haggis was absolutely delicious. We already had dinner plans but if we were in town another day I would have certainly come... More

This delightful place dates back to 1695 and is located in the village of Moulin, where it sits peacefully just outside the popular tourist town of Pitlochry... This traditional Inn, hotel, & restaurant offers great food, drink, and service... the real log fires also offer a warm welcome to all visitors, both humans and their pet dogs... The little brewery... More
