Just stopped in here on the drive back to Manchester. The staff were nice and friendly and very efficient, our drinks were being delivered to our table before I had even finished paying! The food was really tasty too, and all very reasonably priced.

Stopped for lunch on a very long journey up to the Highlands. We waited to be seated and was quickly shown to a table. The menu was family friendly and typical roadside grill fayre and was exactly what was required. 4 of us had a...large lunch and drinks all for £37, So prices were very reasonable. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Food was good and fresh. It was busy and all tables taken. This is a good sign in my book. Everything was clean and covid precautions good. Very happy with our lunch, but if you are after something fancy, this is not the place for you.More

Visited here, totally overpriced for what's on offer. Especially for takeaway. I got coffee and a roll and paid £7.50 and was nothing special. Staff were not very friendly either.

The staff here were so miserable and did not once raise a smile. So rude and unhelpful. I decided to change tables (the new one was directly next to me) as I had two children with me, one a small child and thought a window...table would keep him distracted from wanting to run around. I was immediately told to move by a very grumpy member of staff who told me she hadn’t sanitised the table yet, I lifted my child away and stood back at which point she directed me to move my coat also (it was hanging over the back of the bench) Never once assisting me just ordering me, ok I understand she is working under covid rules, but she made me feel very uncomfortable. Our car was charging nearby, but we ate the food as quickly as possible and left to wait outside in the cold, it was far more enjoyable than being in that atmosphere. When we paid never once was a pleasantry exchanged from the person taking the payment - so very rude. The owner needs to replace their waitresses for a far more happy and welcoming group.More

Stopped here on 19/12/21 with wife and kids. Good menu and decently priced. Adults both had baked potatoes and kids had southern fried chicken chips and peas. No complaints all plates emptied.

Brief stop for fuel, comfort break, ended up having a fish and chip take away. Which is fabulous. The ladies were very welcoming and great personalities 👍😁 Made my day. Can't wait to come back. Derek Norfolk Logistics

Apparently the grill has changed its opening hours and now closes at 5.30pm Waited for five minutes at the door ( instructions say Wait at door) only to be told abruptly and in an unfriendly manner that they were now closed - hours on the...door say 7.30 closing. Can I suggest putting up a sign on the door advertising revised opening hours , maybe a sign on the door : “sorry, we are closed “ when no longer serving and maybe taking in the folding sign and queuing notices when closed - this provides useful information to arriving customers and means staff don’t have to waste time coming to the door .More

Usually stop here when driving down the A9 for a decent coffee. Today driving back from England after 5 hours of driving we were greeted by a younger waitress at the door who barged through the door and aggressively asking if I had gelled my...hands. She then went back to stand with her colleagues and I could hear her complaining about the customers. Thought this was very rude and unprofessional and made for quite a hostile atmosphere. Like I said, normally a very good place to stop but today we did not feel welcome so felt the need to leave a review.More
