When we arrived at Hettie's it was full and we were told to return in about half an hour if we wanted a table. As we had heard so many good reviews of this tearoom, we decided to do just that and it was definitely worth the wait! The experience was fantastic with friendly staff and a pleasant ambience. The... Visited here on a trip to Scotland. What a great find. My friend had a real ice cream milkshake and I had a fantastic choice of green teas. We shared the cake slider, a smaller slice of all the cakes, as we were really spoilt for choice. If this was closer to home I would be visiting all the time.... More

Whatever else you do in Pitlochry make sure you pay a visit to Hettie's. We received a warm welcome and were able to choose from a wonderful range of teas, cakes and scones. Service was prompt despite being busy and it is the first time I've had the teapot served with a timer to tell when the tea is brewed... More

Enjoyed a huge fruit scone with jam and cream probably could have shared it but didn't. Good variety of teas and coffees. Only downside it is a bit tired now but I suppose it adds to the atmosphere. Would visit again.

Lots of Awards on the walls but the baking was definitely not up to any kind of reasonable standard. Victoria sponge first, cream and strawberry (not raspberry) jam had been applied when the sponge was still warm. Result, fillings soak in. Coffee sponge same problem plus an underrated centre and dry outside. Oven too hot? Listen to Mark Berry but... More

We had a quick lunch sharing a tuna sandwich and scone of the day together with a pot of tea for two. When the bill came for the food this was as expected. We should have known something was up when they bought an egg timer with the tea for the perfect brewing time. On the bill the fruit infusion... More

We went for afternoon coffee. Very friendly & welcoming staff . If a tea lover they offer a wide range of tea served in a pot with timer for correct brewing for chosen blend. All served in vintage cups and saucers. Fabulous range of homemade scones, tray bakes and the largest cakes you can imagine Really enjoyable experience. Will certainly be... More

Lovely little tea room with an excellent selection of hot and cold drinks, sweet and savoury snacks and variety of cakes. The portions of cake that my wife and I ordered were biblical in size! The menu does warn you! This place will surely do well given the quality of the food and drink offerings and with the inviting welcome... More
