Mirroring many other reviews for this place, The Bridge was spot on on many levels. Booked for lunch after a trip to the nearby zip line experience, parking is available behind the venue which is good- 2 mins from main street too. Sat nav finds it perfectly. Interior is bright and very clean and staff very attentive. Menu traditional but all the better for it.. Haggis bon bons to start were generous in size and the sauce well made - steak pie for main was equally good with good hearty gravy and veg properly cooked and well presented.. but not too fussy. The restaurant was quite quiet when we were there and the chef came out to have a chat with us which was a nice touch as well. i can imagine the place gets very busy for all the right reasons. Very reasonably priced and portion sizes were generous on the mains too... Would dine there again and recommend.

Superb meal! Taste and presentation were top class and it was served in a cosy environment. The traditional menu is served with an interesting twist on the pallete and the plate. Service was very professional and courteous.Highly recommended.

Booked this restaurant after finding great reviews on TA and it certainly did not disappoint. Beetroot gravadlax was beautifully fresh and a great start to a delicious meal, ribeye cooked perfectly and beer battered haddock very tasty. Very reasonable prices, would definitely recommend booking as we visited on a Saturday and whilst it appeared quiet on arrival it quickly filled up.

Arrived and told to find any seats for two, which were either in the middle or by the entrance. I asked if we could sit at a table for four in a nicer area and was asked to wait at the table nearest the entrance, meanwhile two other couples arrived and were seated at a table for 4. So we moved ourselves to a nicer seat. It took a while before our menus were brought and even longer to take our drinks request. The waiter/waitress were very pleasant. The starters were ok not really worth the £9 price tag. The wine was nice. For main we had the fish and the Bridge Burger. The fish was lovely as were the chunky fries, the burger was sooooo salty and the skin on fries were cold, definitely ready first and sat for a while and was pretty disappointing. Finally had to go up to the till to pay as could not get the attention of staff. I don’t think I would recommend this place to friends family, expensive price tag for mediocre food.

The Bridge Restaurant in Pitlochry located off main street, at Veterans Monument under Railway Arch is the best restaurant in Pitlochry. Menu is varied with table and bar service very good, staff were great. Spacious with great mood and light music, Try the Homemade Beef Steak Pie and vegetables best meal I have had in Scotland. Despite a small mix up with my wife's meal, without asking we were given a very generous discount on our meal. Definitely if I come back to Pitlochry we will be eating here again, it was great!

Absolutely fantastic place to eat. The staff are super attentive. Food is truly amazing, and a wide variety of items on the menu to suit everyone. The manager of the restaurant, sorry but forgot his name was really top drawer. Our server, who also looked after us at breakfast in the Westlands, added to an excellent experience. We booked for the Friday but it was that good we booked for the Saturday as well.

What a great restaurant. Warm welcome, efficient staff, plenty of choice on the menu and great value for money. I had the steak pie which had big pieces of meat in tasty gravy on a bed of mash with a side of vegetables. I followed up with the lemon cheesecake, served with ice cream and fruit compote. As I looked around, I noticed that everyone's meal choices were professionally presented and, as the place was full, I think that other people shared my first impressions. Eating out (and drinking) is expensive in Pitlochry but the Bridge was reasonably priced, especially given the quality of the fare. Booking is recommended,

Coming back from Loch Rannoch area, we stopped for dinner at the Bridge in Pitlochry. We shared the battered squid as starter, then took the pan-roasted salmon fillet and the beer battered haddock and closed by sharing the sticky toffee pudding. The squid and both fishes were perfectly cooked. Friendly service, nice sttings and reasonable prices.

Booked reservation, seated immediately upon arrival then ignored for 20 minutes while other tables around us got seated and orders taken. Had to walk to bar to request someone take our order, while talking with coworkers at the bar server said she was “about to come”. Arrived at table a couple minutes later and was rude while taking order. Never checked on once food was dropped off, never offered refills. Exceptionally poor service. The food was very mediocre, definitely better options available. One star because food order was correct. Would not recommend this restaurant.

Poor quality, burnt steak in a steak pie that was not homemade and poor quality. Mashed potatoes seemed like instant, raw vegetables meal not worth £19! Kids pizza like a frozen supermarket pizza. Took forever to order a drink when we arrived. Overpriced!

When we arrived at the restaurant, we were greeted pleasantly and shown to our table. The restaurant was about half full at this time. We ordered starters and mains, plus drinks. We waited for around 20 minutes for our starters, and noticed a few tables had theirs before us, even though they arrived after us. We enquired where our starters were, and informed that the kitchen thought our order had been done. So had to wait another 10 or so minutes. My wife's prawns were fine, but my squid was overdone and very chewy. My main was fine, but my wife's chicken burger was again overdone and very dry.

Wow this restaurant exceeded all expectations. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was incredibly tasty, I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection accompanied with the tastiest vegetables and mash potato that iv had in a very long time and topped with an amazing white sauce. Still dreaming about this meal. The price was reasonable for the exceptional quality. The lamb also came straight off the bone and the presentation of the steak pie was 10/10. I would highly recommend you try this restaurant. It’s just off the high street and definitely a hidden gem and far superior to some of the restaurants in the town.

We found this delightful restaurant on our visit to Scotland a year ago and weren’t disappointed. This time the soup of the day was carrot and smoked haddock - we were offered a tiny taster - and it was an inspired combination. By ordering a portion of soup and a delicious panini of brie and hand carved ham with salad garnish, followed by a shared lemon cheesecake we were yet again very impressed with the quality of the cuisine as well as the professionalism of the waitress. We look forward to another delicious eating experience on our next visit across the border.

Over two nights my husband and I tasted the chicken supreme, lamp shank, steak pie and salmon filet (with seasonable veg). The chicken was moist and tender, the salmon perfectly cooked as was the lamb and pie. The vegetables were not overcooked and sauces were tasty. We had cheese and biscuits afterwards and there was plenty even though we shared it between us. We saw other diners’ deserts and they looked very good. Service was swift and friendly. The restaurant was clean and had a good atmosphere as it was very busy.
