Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had a lovely meal here last night - service was excellent, very friendly staff and food was delicious. The Christmas decorations are very classy! Certainly lived up to expectations based majority of reviews posted on Trip Advisor. Would recommend and will definitely return.

My wife and I always visit Victorias when on holiday. It has always been our go to restaurant. We visited again this week and were greeted by the same staff that recognised us, even though we only visit when on holiday. They remember where we...like to sit which I think is amazing, and to have the same staff for the last 14 years while we have been going is commendable. The food is excellent. You get what pay for. The breakfasts are really exceptional. Like every where else they are short staffed but it didn’t show. If you enjoy coffee like we do, they serve an Italian coffee ( Nannini ) which is the best coffee we have come across. Great service, great staff, exceptional food and a lovely atmosphere in there very tidy and clean restaurant. Always 10/10 from us. Can’t wait to return. Thankyou.More

We have visited Victoria's for lunch and dinner on previous visits to Pitlochry and have always loved it This time, on arrival in Pitlochry, Victoria's was again our first stop for coffee. Hubby had a bacon roll, (said it's the best he has tasted I...have to agree, as I had a bite or two ) and hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream, We visited again for dinner and it was superb. It is such a lovely restaurant and has a really welcoming ambience Given the time of year, was decorated beautifully The staff are beyond friendly and welcoming and are so attentive without being intrusive. They share a laugh and a joke whilst ensuring all the guests are happy, We had a funny moment, as when the lady brought the bill, which my husband read as £88 he asked them to increase it to £100 to accommodate a tip for the staff. The lady looked a bit confused so I asked if she would prefer we give the tip in cash. She said 'Oh no, that's absolutely fine, but do you realise the bill is £68?' She could have been in receipt of a whopper of a tip so thank you to her for her honesty:) We would highly recommend this lovely restaurant to anyone visiting Pitlochry, love itMore

We came here with no reservation on a busy night, and the staff very kindly managed to get us a table. The meal was exceptional, a bit on the pricey side for some of the options but well worth the pennies. Portion sizes were great,...everything was delicious. My partner said he thinks it was the best prawn cocktail he's ever had. The duck breast I had for my main was lovely, and the little duck spring rolls on the plate as well was a very nice addition! All the staff were very friendly and attentive. If we are ever back in Pitlochry then we would definitely return here. Thank you.More

Touched the spot on breaking what was a difficult A9 today. Attentive staff. Fast service. Keenly priced. Club sandwich was excellent. Good GF adaptations. 1 point: last twice it’s been Carrot and Coriander soup which everyone seems to sell and rolls off the tongue as...sounding poetic. Perhaps offer a couple of soups and adventure into the less run of the mill to excite the light bite customer ? Just a suggestion. But still 5*More

We popped in for coffee and a dish of brioche French toast, served with crispy bacon and maple syrup! It took ages, some 10 minutes before our order was taken, another 30 minutes before it was served, coffee and tea fine but the brioche was...awful, only done on one side with egg and the bacon was anything but crispy! I would not have allowed that dish to leave the kitchen! To be fair they were busy, clearly understaffed front of house but suffering and compounding issues by serving below standard food, not sure what was going on in the kitchen as I saw three folk in there! I did explain my concerns when paying and to their credit the full amount was written off! It is so disappointing for Victoria’s as we’ve had breakfast there before and it was first class in every respect from service to food but that was before the pandemic! We will go again in the hope their previous good standards can be replicated as we’d want to support the business.More
