Family get together, great food and quick service. Really busy at the time but the ladies were always helpful and the food was great.

My party always include Tam o' Shanter when we visit Ayr. The atmosphere is always good and the malt whisky selection above average.

Went here for lunch, food excellent, broth just right stuck to your bones, crepe with chicken was lovely which I had, hubby had the scampi which he said was nice, friendly staff and not overpriced like some places, would definitely recommend it and can't wait to go back, only downside no dogs allowed

Called in for Sunday lunch, two courses £8.95 was worth every penny, I had roast beef and it was delicious. Will definitely call here again on our next visit

Stopped in at this quaint little pub in Ayr. Atmosphere is great decor is just what I think a pub should be. The bartender knew how to pull a pint. Although we didn't have lunch the menu looked quite unique. I would loved to have tried the haggis nachos

Went into the restaurant half for lunch, after seeing the high Trip Advisor rating in their window. Old fashioned tea room style, but not particularly quaint. Staff very friendly and efficient and gave us the WiFi code without any problem. My starter of haggis nachos was very tasty, lots of haggis on top of tortilla chips with cheese and a... More

Stopped of in here to watch the Grand National. Bar was very busy at teatime on Saturday. Goods selection of drinks on tap and bottled beers, but no Desperados. Had a plate of excellent nachos to share that were excellent. Nice place but very busy town centre bar.

In Ayr for the day, just strolling past when we noticed the board with specials on. We opted for 2 course soup n roast beef. I have to say the roast beef was amazing. All veg freshly prepared, served with plenty of gravy. Soup was chicken and rice, again fresh and plenty of chicken in the soup, served with fresh... More
