It's 3 years since I wrote my last review for Saffy's. Over the years I've probably eaten the entire vegetarian menu many times over, though not all in one sitting! It would be hard to pick a favourite but the fragrant vegetable curry would be up there, as would the baked goats cheese enchilada or the brie bake. The main... More

Five of us went to celebrate my sons 17th birthday. Its a fairly small restaurant but very homely. The food was first class and freshly prepared. Very reasonably priced. You must give it a try if in Ayr.

What a lovely place to eat and relax, nothing is too much bother, and if you have an intolerance to a food type they are ready to accommodate you. A really popular place to dine in the seaside town of Ayr. To avoid disappointment you should try booking in advance. I'm looking forward to my next visit.

The Staff were very friendly and attentive. Came in on a Saturday night and although busy the staff were more than friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious.

We have eaten here several times and always enjoyed our meals. Unfortunately this time was a a major letdown for me. Starters were good. He had soup & I had the frito miso which was delicious, main courses...hubby had a fish dish with a creamy sauce that was on the specials menu, but I opted for the Ayrshire burger. Big... More

Lovely little slightly quirky place for yummy food and at a good price. Nice menu with different specials available. Would visit again with friends/ family. Think it has slightly odd opening hours so check before you go?

What a find Saffy's was for us ....as visitors you sometimes miss out on a places highlights, but Saffy's was surely one of Ayr's. We were there for a "live Jazz" Saturday afternoon, its to be hoped they put more musical afternoons on like this one, a full house enjoying the excellent Jazz musicians. Our food was soooo tasty ...our party... Have eaten here many times solo and with colleagues and have never had a complaint. The food is always original, tasty and interesting ... Who would have thought haggis nachos would be a thing, but they are awesome! Have tried other places in Ayr which are good, but this remains the one I want to return to.

Saffy's Cafe Bar & Brasserie is always quite busy, but then again it is pretty small. Good location to meet people in.
