Love everything about this boat/restaurant/take away. Lovely venue, great food, friendly staff. Recommended for a great quick meal

I am no expert but I reckon the chips are only cooked once and fish had been frozen not fresh. Anyhow it was just average fish and chips sadly. The onion rings however were outstanding. Huge portion and cooked to perfection. Only two quid too....More

I took my grand mother to the boat it is very welcoming and friendly staff are not to be forgotten. The food was standard chippy food. The only negative is we had to wait a very long time otherwise a very good day.

Use "the boat" at least once a week, food always fresh and tasty, staff always polite and look happy to be doing their jobs😀

It's a must visit every time I go to Scotland, fabulous and fresh and huge portions. They are one of the only places I know now still make fritters and they are the BEST
