Lovely meal with my husband. Very friendly staff. Great selection of starters, mains and deserts. Food was delicious and reasonably priced, with the exception of the chessboard which we found very disappointing.

What a wonderful little restaurant. It’s been a while since visiting but still continues to keep its high standards. Staff were so friendly and helpful from start to finish, they honestly couldn’t do enough to make sure our visit was one to remember. The food...was absolutely outstanding, it’s one of those meals where you don’t want it to end. I had the mushrooms auld reekie to start and my husband had the haggis Bon bons, for mains we had the roast chicken breast and the wild mushroom gnocchi. We can’t wait to return to sample the festive menu. Thanks for an amazing experience Mason Belles.More
Visited here whilst staying in the area en route to Skye and we were very pleased with our selection. Staff were friendly and efficient the the food was of good quality. We were sufficiently impressed by our initial visit that we rebooked for when we...again stayed in Linlithgow on our return journey from Skye and we were again impressed by the food and staff. We would not hesitate to return if in the area again.More
Lovely wee restaurant. First visit. Can’t fault it. Good service, lovely food, warm and cosy. A lovely evening. Went with friends
Fabulous food, beautifully presented at a reasonable price. Helpful, friendly staff. Highly recommended
Amazing experience at Mason Belles Kitchen! The decor is lovely and the atmosphere is very relaxed and professional. The service was excellent, the staff were so friendly, welcoming and attentive. The food was amazing! Everything tasted so good and you can tell it’s be very...fresh. I had a salted caramel ganache dessert and it was one of the best deserts I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend a visit to this lovely restaurant.More
My husband and I had the most wonderful meal at Mason Belles shortly after our arrival in Linlithgow. In fact it was so good we booked again for later in the holiday. The menu is varied and has something for everyone: dishes are beautifully presented....The mussels are spectacular and I can highly recommend the cocktails. The dining areas are comfortable and leave plenty of room between tables. Staff are professional but friendly and ensure that diners have the best experience. Unfortunately I have forgotten the name of the waitress who served us (16th and 23rd August), but a big thank you to her for making both evenings special. It is a popular restaurant, so be sure book well in advance.More
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here. Met with friendly staff at the door and we were very well looked after. It was very relaxed and the food we had was of a very high standard. My main meal had a number of elements and they were...all perfectly cooked. It will be easy to return hopefully soon.More
Food was excellent. The portion sizes were just right and everything was delicious. The staff were very attentive. Prices are very reasonable. We look forward to another visit soon.
Not as good as I expected, but ordering mussels in August is always risky, and apart from a rather mean portion, the sauce was over salted and I forbore to open a half a dozen which were firmly shut. My dining companions were happier than...I. An accommodating waiter allowed us to order a selection of starters and sides to share, and that was pleasant. Wines were an acceptable Chilean Merlot and S African Sauvignon. Service in general was good. Setting and ambience rather pleasant, though there’s an ugly blue excrescence in the garden, which would be easy to disguise or hide with a little imagination.More
Lovely Sunday Roast Lunch, great set menu and really nice atmosphere. Friendly staff, Beautiful Garden.
Highly recommend, afternoon tea was delicious and a little different from the usual sandwiches. The ambiance was relaxed and cosy, will definitely be booking again superb
Excellent meal great variety of choices on the menu. attentive staff overall a great experience I would definitely recommend a visit
Sunday lunch pre booked and we found a nice airy tucked away eatery with a sunny patio and garden area. A set 2 course menu but with an £8 supplement for a “roast”. Starters good. Roasts disappointing. Chewy cubes of meat, potatoes were not roasts...but new potatoes showed the oven and the veg portion tiny and uninteresting. Pleasant staff and venue but sadly not worth the bill.More
I have eaten here a few times and the food and service is always impeccable. Visited last night and food distinctively average and a little bland. Service was still top notch but the food left me a little underwhelmed this time. I’m hoping this was...just a bad night and it won’t put me off giving it another go. I do find the menu very limited and can’t understand why the basic fish and chips has been removed. I’d certainly visit more often if menu had a bit more variety.More
