The food is good and solid, but dont expect anything fancy. The service was excellent. We had the hunters chicken, which we both liked. The whisky sauce and the homemade coleslaw were particularly good. The restaurant offers a nice selection of beer.

Four of us ate here recently. The pub was busy, the staff friendly and attentive and the food very good. Would recommend it to other travellers.

Lovely surroundings, great service, but since being taken over by Belhaven, the Four Marys had just become another clone, photocopy of what many many old British pubs have become. Same menus, same beers, it used to be great, could offer something a bit different with...More

Great food, warm and friendly atmosphere. My husband definitely liked the comprehensive menu of different whiskeys. The staff remembered you and made you welcome.

A beautiful day, with friends, nice service and very nice recepies. My friend John asked for a steak and I preferred a salmon. All dishes were cooked well. What a nice day. Thank you. Looking forward to coming soon. From Italy, Nicola.
