My friend and I enjoyed scones and tea and a loooong visit. I appreciated that the staff didn't show any impatience for us to leave the table. The scones were delicious and the china added so much to our enjoyment.

Had basic menu with standard snacks and breakfast was nothing special. Staff not interested in selling their wares! Food was hot and quickly came to the table. Coffee needs a lot of work - a bit on the weak side, friend said the tea was fine.

I visit this cafe in a regular basis and find that it's a great spot for whether it's a quiet cup of coffee/tea or a tasty dinner you're looking for. The food is fantastic and very well presented. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I recommend the Apple Pie & Ice Cream! Delicious. This lovely spot is well worth... More

I was in the Tea cosy on two occasions! The first time I went there I didn't enjoy it at all, staff were very cold and they were arguing with each other in front of customers which I found very unprofessional and quite uncomfortable to watch. I thought I'd come in here again as it's been changed to 'Relish 15'... More

This cafe is an ideal meeting place especially in the fine weather when one can sit outside and watch the buzz of the Market place. What endears me to this Cosy Cafe is the old world charm of chine ware being served. The staff too are gracious and there is a good range for a midday light lunch or afternoon... More

I'd never write a bad review on only one visit......anyone can have an off day. So in the interest of fairness I tried the tea cosy THREE times. 1st visit. Staff seemed to have little or no training. One cross and pushy. Made for a uncomfortable visit. Food not remarkable. 2nd visit. All staff except the owner/manageress had changed. The... More

Freezing cold inside so it wasn't at all cosy. Waited ages for breakfast even though there was only one other table. Breakfast not as described on menu so had to wait again for tomatoes to arrive. When they did it was half a tomato practically thrown onto my plate by waitress. I made it known when paying that what we... More

Love the teacups, blueberry scone, friendly staff. A vintage tearoom where the atmosphere adds so much to the experience.
