Lending itself to the hand built and constructed burgers and pizzas, to the pasta, steaks, fish and chicken dishes all cooked with love and care, as well as house baked cakes, bread, desserts and savories, ‘you like, we cook!’ With its design and a décor of moods from the old and quirky! There’s a magical harmony of fantastic real home made cuisine with realistic prices. Our super friendly, and may I add, happy staff are only too pleased to help sort out any queries or dietary needs. Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hadn’t been to Scoozis in a while so said it would be nice for a catch up with a friend for a change (just like old times). Welcomed with a smile by Danny and made feel at home straight away. Food is always reliable but...the service is ALWAYS consistent when it comes to Danny. Scoozis has and always will be a place that brings memories flooding back for me. I used be brought there by my parents as a child if we spent a Saturday in town, as I got older it was always somewhere I enjoyed to go as a young teen and later in life I used regularly do early morning breakfast on a Saturday with the work gang before a day of work in the salon. As we were leaving that evening the queue was down the street, that speaks for itself in my eyes. A warm, family friendly, homely restaurant. Highly recommended!!More

I have been coming here for years. It never disappoints. The staff are always exceptional. I asked for a dish that was off the menu but they went out of their way to make it for me. Danny is the best manager ever. Nothing is...ever a problem and he's constantly checking if you're ok . He always remembers you when you return. He's a legendMore

Great service. We were a group of 3 a gluten intolerant, a vegetarian and a lactose intolerant. They managed to suggest many options for all of us. The man who welcomed us was very friendly. Highly recommended ☺️

I have been going to Scoozi since it opened in Cork & have gone there regularly over all the years that followed bringing my Children here & had many an amazing family meal & good fun & always loved the food &atmosphere .We visited recently...& were surprised to see the old queuing system is now moved outdoors but that really was the least of Scoozi’s down turn . The prices have gone up &the quality of food has fallen off a cliff. Portion sizes are tiny.. Salsa wings we got 5 in starter portion, Garlic bread, tiny. I had the Burger with ‘Scoozis signature sauce’ which in all my years I never heard off !!! Bring back the Rebel without a sauce is all I can say .. the chips were horrible too. It pains me to write this review but any Scoozi regular will feel the same. Scoozi had friendly staff who know the regulars & looked after them well & took pride in the food & the standard of it …all that is gone . Small portions of low quality food at high prices sorry guys but I won’t be back it’s just not Scoozi anymore.More

Was here yesterday with the lovely Ursula and some Italian friends for dinner. Very busy as we had to wait in a queue but that is the sign of a great place! Anyway it wasn’t a long wait It was worth it! We both had...stuffed garlic chicken which was fab. The Italians had pizza and bolognese and they said it was very good which is high praise indeed coming from them! A drink to wash it down with excellent service.More

Good food and great service. Lovely restaurant to bring your family to. There's usually a queue but it moves fast and they even have heaters and seats for while you're waiting.

Scoozis used to be my FAVOURITE restaurant ever. I am sitting in here right now. The staff were amazing couldn’t fault them, so attentive and plenty on. Unfortunately the food was a massive let down. Chicken wings were hard and mainly skin, the sauce was...sweet chilli not salsa. I will be a leaving a hungry girl today unfortunately. I paid €20 for a few chips. Thanks for great service but not for the food sorry guys.More

We could not have been made more welcome here - really lovely staff especially Rory who went out of his way to help us find where we wanted to go afterwards and recommended some other places too. The food was great - the portions are...substantial - we ordered starters and therefore I couldn't finish my main and we didn't have room for pudding - which was a shame as they looked lovely. It is tucked away in a little side street but definitely worth seeking out.More

This has always been one of my favourite restaurants. Sadly it has not maintained its high standard. I ordered eggs Benedict which was always wonderful here. Not so today. Sauce was thick and merely warm. One egg overcooked . Other had runny white which I...hate. In fairness when I returned it a lovely young male waiter came out and offered me a different choice . But the girl who had listened to my complaint wasn’t helpful and ignored my table for rest of my meal. Background music hip hop style ! Awful music in background.More
