Staff were really friendly and welcoming making it a pleasant place to stop for lunch. What I really enjoyed was that all the food was fresh, healthy and wholesome. I cab highly recommend the spinach and mushroom pancake. Child friendly and centrally located, great place to enjoy good food with nice company!

We enjoyed our lunch - we both ordered the soup and sandwich combo. The soup was delicious. The side of various pickles was delicious---could have made of meal of these. Loved the brown hearty bread. The tea was so delightful I asked what they used that then promptly bought some to take home (at the supermarket). Their cakes looked yummy... More

Beautifully cooked full Irish breakfast. Wonderful atmosphere. Even nicer than Liberty Grill. Return here time and again.

Perfect cafe in the gallery with a good selection of mains, soups and cakes. Very pleasant staff- they give you a big jug of water and nice brown bread and butter to start. Will definitely return here

Out of convenience we decided to have lunch at the Cafe on a recent gallery visit. Well talk about a surprise - a very pleasant one at that. First surprise was to find Devilled Kidneys on the menu - any menu theses days! Second surprise: they were cooked to perfection and the sauce pleasantly 'hot' - sourdough toast perfect accompaniment... More

I had, up until my visit to this Cafe, been generally disappointed with Ireland's culinary offerings. However, the food in this little cafe absolutely sang. The spinach and cheese crepe was fabulous and the accompanying salad dressed to perfection. I was in heaven.

Went for breakfast today after a couple of years absence from this cafe to discover not only are the eggs still over cooked but coffee was really bad. Within minutes of receiving food we were asked if all ok so had not checked the eggs (poached) so were unaware they were over cooked however while first coffee tasted 'stewed' the... More

Ordered the roasted marrow bones with parsley and caper salad and it was delicious. The marrow was delicious slathered on toasted sourdough, and garnished with the parsley caper salad topped with a sprinkle of sea salt. Lovely combination nicely presented. Staff was friendly and service very good. Lovely setting and a pleasant place to dine on a dreary day after... More
