Some excellent dishes (feather blade beef, beetroot cured salmon) let down by unnecessary lack of attention to details - fish cool (and then reheated rather than replaced). NEITHER Prosecco nor a white wine were sufficiently chilled - but a glass of Malbec was very good. Good in spots, like the curate's egg. Will try again sometime.

Between 3 and 4 stars! Very good starters - shared fish platter and beetroot cured salmon. We had to send back two fish specials (lukewarm) but the feather bladed beef was very good (and piping hot) and the cauliflower steaks were apparently good too (though I didn't get to taste them!). We had to send the prosecco back to be... More

I recently received a gift voucher for this restaurant, which I had long wanted to visit but hadn't got around to, so it was a perfect excuse to go. My wife and I went there on a Saturday night and got a (the) window table, so we could watch the world go by. The menu had something for everyone. I... More

I went here with a friend for Lunch on good Friday with so many places not opened and I am so glad we found this little gem. The food was absolutely delicious and the lady serving was very kind and attentive. I would definitely go back here such a lovely atmosphere and superb food to go with it.

Had lunch in this restaurant last week and as always everything is fabulous. As far as the food is concerned it's top class. As good as any restaurant I've visited here in Cork. From the excellent starter's, the fabulous mains to the excellent deserts. I also have to recommend their excellent wine list. I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone... More

This is a great place to go for lunch. I recently had dinner here for the first time. 4 stars feel extremely generous given the experience, which was only slightly above average, but I feel 3 stars would not have been quite enough. The food is good and I like the fact that some of the dishes were quite adventurous.... More

I was in Cork with a friend to see Glasgow Warriors v Munster in a Pro 12 rugby match. We were walking back from Mardyke around 5pm and saw Fenns Quay. We decided to give it a try. We had a main course and dessert. My main course was fish and it was excellent. My friend had feather blade of... More

We arrived as booked at 6.00pm and the restaurant seemed very quiet for a Saturday night. Because we were there before 6.30 we had a choice between ala cart and early bird menus although the there was not much between them. My wife had Cauliflower steaks which she raved about while I had Featherblade of beef which was excellent but... More

The staff are nice and friendly but the menu selection is small and a little strange. There are about seven choices for main course and six for starter. Like another reviewer I also had the hot and cold fish platter, I don't think it worked and the portion was small for €17 with no potatoe or side. It was a... More

Had a delicious dinner in this hidden gem in Cork. The menu is interesting and uses fresh local ingredients in an imaginative way. While the menu is somewhat limited there's something to suit all tastes. Fish was a highlight and the gin and tonic dessert was very clever. Presentation of all dishes was exceptional. Friendly waiter provided great service. Well... More
