We had another wonderful evening at the Ivory Tower restaurant tonight. The Tasting Menu was full of surprises from Rhubard and Tea sorbet to Duck Sushi - supported very nicely by a French organic red wine. I highly reccommend visiting this dining gem right in...More

We completed a nostalgic return to a restaurant we loved when we lived in the city of Cork. It didn't disappoint. We had the set menu, there was a great choice of meat, seafood and vegetarian. The food was fabulously cooked & service was excellent....More

This is an expensive treat but worth every penny. Ask your server for advice as the dishes are unusual but you will be surprised and delighted with every course. Wine by the glass is expensive but by the bottle very reasonable so share a bottle....More

Unique cuisine in a slightly less than formal setting, can't get there often enough, every time we visit the only disappointment is that we can't sample more of the menu!!!

I ate here with my wife. The restaurant is setup like eating in the front room of an old house. Very eclectic, with chef O'Connell in the kitchen at the back. We had the 5 course menu for €50. There was a good selection for...More

As always, worth its money as the quality of the food is very good. Friendly staff :) Even if the restaurant doesn't look like a restaurant in the beginning - still it has its own charm and makes you feel comfortable

An intimate restaurant run by locally famous chef Seamus O'Connell, featuring some of the most imaginative food in Ireland. The menu includes cajun, french and asian influences, with dishes such as blackened shark with banana ketchup and veal chimichanga ensuring that Cork locals and tourists alike take the time to locate this hard to find restaurant.
