The sign reads 'Best Fish & Chips in Dublin', which is about as far from the truth as I can imagine. The fish batter was soggy, the tartare sauce out of a jar (despite the claim it's homemade), the mushy peas were actually just garden peas and finally, the chips were poorly cooked, half of them still hard. It was... More

Hi Gareth, Having recently just reopened and fully renovated our family run restaurant after extensive damage one year I accept that there will always be teething problems in the first few weeks. That being said, I feel your review is not only insulting, but damaging to our business and I have to question whether you ever sat foot in our... More

We came here for breakfast, I had a full Irish breakfast and it was one of the tastiest breakfast I've ever had. Everything was delicious. It came with tea/coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice all for just €8.50. Will definitely be going back

Have visited her several times for brunch and it was always great - freshly prepared food and excellent value . Kingfisher is currently closed due to a fire in the premises in Feb 2016 . As of Oct 16 still closed -hope it opens again soon.

Fast service for take a way! Good price and friendly staffs! It's a pity that they had some fire problems, but we're hoping that they'll reopen soon!

This is an inexpensive seafood restaurant with very good fish and chips. It can be a bit noisy at times. Try to go early to avoid the crowds.

I once had a delicious fish and chips here. They were a excelent restaurant right in the city centre. The price was ok. Anyway this place literally went on fire. Couple months ago. This restaurant was burned in flames i don't know why. This place used to be good i wish they reopen one day.

Just a very quick review. The Kingfisher is apparently famous for its fish and chips. I ate in there during a recent stay in Dublin and to be honest I was a bit let down.Sure is a very busy bustling restaurant but I genuinely had better food from a take away that I did in the restaurant. Look its a... More

Stopped across the road in the Jurys Inn Hotel and saw this chippy on the way in, so we decided to try it as it was getting late. Walked in to friendly staff who showed us to a table and then who asked what would we like to drink. I thought it was just a regular chip shop but has... More

I can't say enough about how delicious the breakfast here and the Mexican exchange student who was our server was lovely. I would recommend anyone pop in here one morning. Big pots of tea, nice sausage and the place was busy and had a great atmosphere.
