A great find, just a stones throw from Brooks Hotel. Arrived for dinner around 5pm without a reservation, table close to bar area. Extensive wine list and a great camembert to share as a starter; stroganoff as a main meal was equally delicious on a bed of mash with mustard greens as a side. We will certainly return

Amazing selection of wine and very knowledgeable staff. They knew what an"oaky" Chardonnay was. Over 400 different selections by bottle and 100 by glass only. God bless them! Signed a wine snob!

The wine list is so extensive, so well detailed, the ambiance is so romantic and inviting and their deluxe meat and cheese platters, the anchovies, the bread, is all good in this place, prompt and friendly staff, nice cutlery, this place has everything, I NEED to go back to this place ASAP, even thought is a gourmet restaurant the prices... We wanted somewhere for a bowl of soup at lunchtime and just happened across this place. We chose their lunchtime offer, which was a bowl of soup ( tomato and pumpkin ) and a choice of sandwich for around 10 euro. The soup was very tasty and the choice of sandwiches was good. I opted for an open Irish smoked... More

We popped in here on Wednesday evening after work without a reservation and were greeted by a very friendly staff member who offered us a choice of tables and didn't make the usual contorted face when we mentioned we didn't have a reservation. Once we were comfortable (It is a very comfortable restaurant) we were informed of the specials which... More

Wonderful selection of wines of the world; very reasonable, nice pours. trendy ambience; Carlos from Argentina was a terrific host and hugely wine knowledgeable. It was a great mid afternoon pause particularly enjoyed the Camembert fondue.

They have a huge collection of truly excellent wines from all over the world which they serve by the glass. Friendly service and lovely, homely food. Very much enjoyed dining here!
