Was taken here for a surprise birthday brunch. A concise menu was full of unctuous options making the decision on what to eat difficult... First World problems eh? I eventually settled on the beef brisket reuban and was rewarded with melt in your mouth brisket, off set with a generic sauerkraut (the only disappointment, that it wasn't homemade) and creamy Swiss cheese on fresh Crispy ciabatta, really tasty and good value for money. My ten year old ordered the hangover cure as the hot sauce and pancake combination had him salivating... Not to mention the locally brewed hot sauce "scarlet for yer ma" one of many highlights. My wife supped on the brisket burger, again moist flavour filled brisket, topped with an egg and served with a fresh slaw. The well sourced beverage list included alot of Irish offers, from which I selected a lovely dry Irish cider. A Brownie was shared by the family, whilst I had an excellent machiatto. The coffee here is worth a visit alone. We purchased some beans and some hot sauce too take home, so impressed were we by both. Will definitely return.

Thanks Jason. I appreciate the detail and I am glad you enjoyed it so much. It's hard to make everything in house especially in this current environment. Hope to see you again soon.

This is one of my favourite places not only to eat, but just to go on a coffee break. Most recently I went with my friend and we shared the garlic cheese pizza, which not only was delicious, but reasonably priced and served quickly. Despite the evident busy-ness at the time of our visit, the servers were delightfully polite and helpful, and handled the stressful situations well. The servers are always kind, polite and helpful, and have often recommended the best options on the menu which certainly lived up to their reputation. Can't recommend this restaurant enough: go for the food and return for the delightful service.

Visited on the Sunday before Xmas, just after midday. Did not have a booking but we were offered a seat outside (it was freezing) and provided with a waterbottle - which is a nice touch but not doing much in really cold weather. During out total duration at the restaurant/cafe there was always at least one table free inside that would have seated the two of us. I appreciate they probably had bookings coming after us, but if they told us we could only have the table inside for 45 mins or so that would have been fine as would have given us enough time to order and finish our meals. Maybe they can look at how they manage & utilise their tables inside a bit better. I am not having Covid as an excuse. Food was tasty and enjoyable and I would return for the food again. I ordered tea & it was so disappointing. Tea is a staple part of the Irish diet, no excuse for poor tea in Dublin.

Thanks so much for the feedback and detail... We are constantly trying to improve how we operate. We are finally back to walk-ins which means it's first come first served so all tables should be full when busy.... Strange the tea was not as good as normal. We use Wall & Keogh loose tea and normally it's top notch. We hope to welcome you back again soon.

Myself and my partner have been to this place twice. First time the service was a bit slow and the waiter forgot about us. However we went back today as the food was lovely!! We were seated and were told there would be a bit of a wait as they were very busy (a game was on in croke Park and that's totally understandable). However after waiting for our cheesy toasty and egg, beans, black pudding with toast for 50 min we were about to walk out especially as the table next to us were served 15 min before us even tho they were seated after to us. The food arrived just as we were to leave. The tea was served without milk. We did not get the water we asked for. The black pudding didn't arrive. I appreciate that it was a busy time however 50 min wait for the food we ordered was excessive. They had alot of staff but it looked very unorganised. We were planning to come back an evening to try the pizza but after 2 times of poor service im not sure we would give it another chance. Pity as the food really is lovely.

Have been here a few times, and each time has been a little disappointing. Always the item I want to order on the menu is not available or out of stock, which is quite frustrating. The last moment I was in the cafe, I ate my meal with a friend and I ordered a tea to finish at the end and maybe 1 minute after my tea arrived, I was given the bill without asking for it and told the table was needed for the next customer. So I had to essentially leave my tea (even I still paid for it). Also to note the prices are on the expensive side.

Thanks for taking the time to write the review. It's good to get feedback. I don't remember you specifically as I might not have served you. We try to have the food as fresh as possible so time to time things run out over the course of a day or faster than expected when demand is higher than normal. It's hard to have everything in stock at all times so you must have been very unlucky. This is normal in cafes/restaurants like ours. We are operating at 55% seating capacity at the moment which is very very challenging for a restaurant where margins are super tight, more so than most imagine especially when using local suppliers. Our prices match the quality and cost/time to prepare the food. During the COVID time we are telling all customers that tables are for 70-80 mins at peak times and only when there is a high demand for tables. Apologies if this was not communicated clearly to you, it's hard to get the message across sometimes as our voices sound muffled through masks and sometimes we might come across unfriendly or a little agressive when are not, especially as you cannot see our smiles now and also as every communcation is a little more forced so you can hear us. Rest assured we are doing our best to give every customer the same friendly and attentive experience despite the extreme difficulty. We would wear face shields but in reality when standing over someone so close to them, they are just not effective. Apologies again and next time introduce yourself and I will be happy to give you a tea on us.

Not an enjoyable experience. The manager (or owner) was a tad bit rude as he made us rush our lunch. Got off to a bad start when we were told “I need the table back in 45 minutes”, even when I had a booking. Putting this aside, the food is okay, but the prices are crazy expensive for what you get, not sure if it’s worth it tbh. Overall, disappointing.

Thanks for taking the time to write the review. It's a pity the overall experience was tainted but I remember you joining us as I served you personally. It was a very busy service with high demand especially at the time you arrived. You casually arrived 15 minutes late for your booking without mentioning it or apologising for it totally oblivious to how important a busy service is. I told you i would probably need the table back in about 45 mins but in fact I left you stay 60 mins and only then did i apologise and say I would need the table back soon as you were not making the effort to hurry despite having people clearly wait having turned up on time for their table. . It's a very tough situation for everyone (with COVID) with many businesses hanging in the balance and we are operating at 50% seating capacity so turning tables around fast is important and everyone is told when sitting that we need the table back in 70-80 minutes. Weekend is even more important as it pays for a quiet week which it is the new norm without tourists. Please consider from a businesses perspective as there are two parties involved at all times and maybe call ahead if you are going to be late.

Me and two friends went to One Society for brunch and had a fantastic experience. The longer time period for their brunch menu was fantastic as it meant both girls could come. We were greeted by staff and sat immediately, the staff was especially helpful in answering any questions we had about the menu. The food was super good, I personally had the halloumi burger, which was amazing as a veggie. One of my friends had the brisket and greens I believe and was very impressed. Overall a great experience would definatly go again.

Honestly I visit this place at least once a week. The food is great (the hangover stack is to die for) and the service is impeccable. The waitresses are always so nice and cheerful and happy to help. I went here on a date February 5th, and we split the prawn pizza; I honestly devoured it like a man gone missing in the woods for two weeks. Our waitresses were both sweet and respectful, even when other customers were rude/needy to them. Can’t wait to come again!

I visited One Society for brunch on the recommendation of several friends. I loved the food (I ordered the maple syrup and bacon pancakes) - but I was truly blown away by the service. Attentive, detail-oriented and truly kind staff allowed this to be a great experience. Great food and staff, with high levels of cleanliness throughout. Also extremely reasonable prices for Dublin centre. I will be sure to become a regular on any future trips to Dublin!

I love to have a brunch there. It’s very original and always delicious. The prices are quite high but it’s worth it. The only thing what disappointed me is that they use a golden syrup instead of a maple syrup which is written in the menu (Hangover stack pancakes).

Thanks so much for the review, delighted you enjoyed it. We appreciate the feedback and delighted you have been a few times. The Hangover is a fan favorite. We use Lyles Golden Maple Syrup. As we use so much maple with our pancakes, real Canadian Maple Syrup would be a non-runner due to the cost. Hope to host you again soon Martina.

Their food is delicious. The pizzas are some of the best in Dublin. They have a great selection of brunch items - the brisket is particularly good. They have a lot of outdoor seating, although the chairs a not that comfy if you're there for a long time. One thing I don't like is that on two occasions when I ordered beer they provided us with unchilled bottles... Nobody wants warm beer...

Unreal food and coffee. Beaut Sunday morning brunch! The cafe was short staffed but they let us know that and that it would be a bit slower than normal, so we didn’t mind. Will definitely be back the next time we are in Dublin :)

I had a leisurely breakfast here on a sunny Saturday morning and I can only describe my food as stunning and the service impeccable. I had Chorizo and Eggs whilst my daughter had the Beans and eggs. Both were divine I thoroughly recommend this venue and it well worth the slight diversion from O'Connell street to same something outside the norm. Not had the Pazza but they sounds nice on the menu and if the same standard as breakfast then they will be brilliant.

Came here for the midweek brunch because the menu looked amazing. When we arrived, the place was fairly packed (a very good sign). We were quickly seated and all ordered what we wanted. EVERYTHING WAS AMAZING!!! We ordered the pancakes (so fluffy and flavorful), the chicken and chorizo sandwich (just the right amount of flavors…, perfection) and the hangover stack (aptly named). They even allowed for a modification of a toaster for my son. The hot beverages were also on point. I will definitely revisit when back in Dublin. Great food!!!!

Hi We were in your restaurant this evening Saturday 5th. We ordered 3 pizzas. 2 were incorrect and when we said it to waitress the reply was "wasn't on slip" no serviettes given 2hen my 8 Yr old went to get some hecwas given out too. Shocking, rude, ignorant service. One society was recommended to us but we would never recommend or go ever again. Owners should look at staff. Other waitress pleasant(in blue jumper) even when we ordered garlic dip she snapped youce to pay for it. Also perhaps you could look at policy of using tinned mushrooms. Overall a very very disappointing experience and shockingly poor setvice
