This is a fantastic eaterie. We found it by chance and without a reservation, the staff were able to find us a table despite being very busy. It's not cheap but the food we had was amazing. Steak was one of the best I have ever eaten. There's a great selection of drinks on offer. The surroundings are contemporary and... More

Called in to the chop house for a quick meal this week while on a shopping trip. I had tried to go for lunch some weeks ago but there was no entry due to a private party. I had the fish and chips and the chocolate assiette. The excellent barman sounded me out to have a beer to accompany the... More

A gastropub with a fabulous atmosphere and very friendly staff who know their wine and food inside out. The food was excellent, well presented and portioned and enjoyed by all at the table. All courses were tasty and I wish I had room for more. Everyone ordered different cooking of the steaks and everyone was bang on. A highly recommended... More

The first meal in Ireland raised the standards a lot :). Jucy steak, great service, awsome fish. Must try!

Having visited a few spots over the few days I stayed in the herbert park area this was the best of a good bunch. Food was outstanding, especially the seafood (scallops, hake and possibly the best oysters I have ever had). Service was attentive and very friendly and the atmosphere was very inviting and comfortable. Oh, and the guiness was... More

SO glad I booked or we would never have got a table! Very busy but the staff were calm and efficient throughout. Our Venetian waiter knew his stuff and advised well. I had a delicious steak and my husband enjoyed his venison although it was a bit rare for him. The gin menu is well worth a sample - I... More

We wandered in on a busy Friday night but they were able to find us a table at the bar. The menu is not extensive but if you want steak this is an excellent place to go. The food was very good and there's a good drinks choice. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent service - the servers seemed to work together like the cogs of a clock - we were never in need of anything; wine and water were refilled as was the bread basket. The seared scallops, as an appetizer, came out juicy and paired nicely with the sweet potato puree. My husband, daughter and myself shared the kilo of Irish... More

Fantastic place to eat. Loved the layout. The fish starter and ribeye was simply top class. Our friendly Argentinean waitress was very pleasant and recommended the Argentinean Malbec. From start to finish I could not fault!

The meal was excellent - I had the Halibut special for main - really great, I had the hendricks Gin, the seafood starter - but best of all I watched Ireland beat the all blacks. Great night!
