We fell for the hype and visited the oldest pub in Dublin - fully refurbished in modern times so nothing really left of the 1198 pub. Still, the pub was quirky and the beer and food good. The service was poor with us chasing down...More

For somewhere that's just beyond the Temple Bar boundaries but offering a similar level of vivacity, the Brazen Head would fit the bill. Decent range of drinks and decent bill of (food) fare make for a convivial experience, helped by the frequent sessions of live...More

Popped in for a few(!) pre-dinner drinks. Quirky pub spread over a number of different rooms/bars. Has a real old-world feel about it. Nice staff and a decent pint of Guinness. Just remember to take a map when you visit the loos. I couldn't find...More

I loved all of the desperate and unique and cozy dining rooms! The wall decorations are beautiful and interesting! Oldest pub in Dublin. I loved the food too! Definitely a place to see!

Really nice food, such a good atmosphere. I went here alone and met some lovely people. Ending up drinking more than expected and dancing to the live band. Would recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy themselves.

The place my better half decided she loved Guinness! An authentic Irish pub in the heart of Dublin, serving great traditional Irish food and booze. Yes it draws the tourists as others have commented, but is that a bad thing? It's warming to hear American...More

A true gem in the city of Dublin. The history alone makes this an interesting place to visit. It's really easy to imagine what this place must have been like hundreds of years ago. I'm a vegetarian, so I was happy to see that they...More

No, but everything seemed to be on one level. - I didn't see any stairs. Patio seating too. Wonderful spot.
