We were staying in a grotty hotel nearby and were so pleased to find this local restaurant only 7 minutes walk away. The food was good. We shared some mezze for starters. I had a very good goat's cheese salad. My friends had salmon, a burger and some soup (he wasn't hungry after a late lunch). I also shared some... More

I have breakfast here almost every Sunday morning after walking in the mountains. It is always absolutely top class. Friendly attentive staff, beautiful breakfast. Tried to spread my wings and go other places but we keep coming back here.

Having been a big fan of Mayfield for many years, I ate here twice in the past fortnight and won't be returning. The first visit was for a three course meal which, at best, was mediocre and disappointing. The second time was for lunch. The food was awful and the service not much better. Having waited some time to order... More

Usually enjoy goat's cheese salad when I'm lunching here. Chanced it for mains last night and, despite its gorgeous flavour, I had to fight to the finish! Rest of the gang happy too. With its BYOW policy in place, Mayfield offers amazing value. A great neighbourhood restaurant, in my opinion.

Love this place... but you'll need to book on the weekend! They have a fantastic lunch menu and have an excellent Flat White coffee. I brought my grandmother here and she loved it. Each table and chairs is different and they have quirky chandeliers. There's also a takeaway spot next door

I have been looking forward to trying Mayfield and my visit last week did not disappoint! Both taste and presentation of our food was fantastic. Friendly staff, quirky decor, delicious menu and pleasant ambience. I have already recommended this to friends and family and look forward to my next brunch here!

We visited Mayfield today for an early lunch. We brought food for our baby and asked if they had a children's menu which they didn't (should be the first indication they don't want children there if they can't give 1 or 2 options). We asked Dario the waiter if they could do scrambled eggs and toast and were told 'No,... More

Loved this place! After booking for a post-hen brunch, 7 of us visited the Mayfield for the cure. A quaint and summery place just backed off the street, it made for a comfortable, colorful and tasty bit of together time after the big night out. The breakfast hash was really gorgeous, a plate of mush mashed brekkie eggs, bacon, pudding... More
