The food was good, not great. I guess living in the US, my standards are high for Mexican food. Nothing wrong with it; just don't expect to be blown away. Good prices, friendly, free wifi, large portions.

My family and I regularly come here for lunch or takeaway. The food is delicious and fresh and the staff are very friendly. The prices are good too.

The cafe was quiet enough on a Monday evening. The prices are really appealing - only €8.50 for a good portion of beef nachos! Nice place to visit with a small group of friends, the cafe itself can hold up to maybe 20 people.

Visited here with a group from work and was very disappointed with the food. One of the guys asked for a burrito with chicken and beef and was told that all burritos were pre made and this could not be facilitated, so not a good...More

I've been to Azteca twice now for lunch as it's just down the road from where I work. The staff are lovely particularly Hugo, who I assume is the owner, who asked my name and made me feel very welcome. The food is freshly prepared,...More

Without a doubt the best Mexican food I've ever had! Staff is lovely and the atmosphere is muy mexicano. Will definitely have to go back next time I hit Dublin.

Many American expats & travelers share the same lament - we miss Mexican food. Real Mexican food. The kind that feels a little bit hole-in-the-wall and certainly ISN'T a Subway-style burrito shop. Well, Azteca is certainly the closest that we've found since having moved to...More

My hus and I are transplants from LA to Syracuse, NY, where, I'm sad to say, we have not had a whole lot of real Mexican food. Imaging my surprise when we passed this little hole in the wall near Christchurch Cathedral in Dublin, Azteca,...More

Hugo brings the tastes of his hometown of Mexico City right into Dublin. His mole and tamales are perfect and made real masa and Mexican spices. We stop whenever we are in Dublin.

Very tasty dish, beautiful setting. Very friendly mexican staff. Reasonably priced. Would have liked to see some mexican wines there like Valle de Guadalupe. Cant seem to find any in Dublin. Que Pena. Overall Azteca is well recommended on my list for authentic mexican cuisine....More
