The worry about revisiting a restaurant is the risk of disappointment. I have visited this cafe for thirty years every time I visit the centre. The decor with its wooden tables, pleasant relevant posters of cultural events and the soft lighting all attract. The rye...More

Simon's Place has been around for years. It's great, as good as ever. Sandwiches are huge and filling. Lighting is nice, as are the posters all over the walls. Nice servers.

Dropped in to try the famous cinnamon bun and was not disappointed. Got there a little late as, there were only a couple left, but still just brilliant. Really friendly staff too. Coffee is average but overall a really nice little cafe. Will definitely be...More

Love this café and I go every time I am in town. It is like a warm cosy hideaway and while the food and coffee are not spectacular it is perfect for a cosy coffee and sambo and I love the artsy vibe. My grievance...More

Best sandwiches in Dublin- try the avocado if they have any left and love the mushroom salad. The staff are lovely and the cafe itself is really comfy - don't forget there's more seating downstairs as it took me years to discover this!

Called in here for lunch on Easter Tuesday with my wife. The menu is simple and the food is excellent. The sandwiches are delicious and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be back.
