Gorgeous coffee and an incredible selection of fresh baked breads and treats. Went here daily when working in the area. Owen and the team so lovely and friendly too. Highly recommend and always make sure to pop in when I'm in the Grand Canal area! Try the Canolli and the little powdered sugar ameretto flavoured biscuit fingers...amazing!!!!

We've visited here on many occasions and the food is always excellent. They do a great selection of savory and sweet items.

Had an amazing pain au chocolate here. Great selection of very tasty sandwiches and cakes. Not many seating places. They also charge €.30 for credit cards when the bill is under €10. However, still worth coming here to eat.

I have tried the apple tea tart. Very good ! The service is good too! It is quite small and crowdy on week end.

When waking up and feeling too lazy for preparing breakfast, Il Valentino is a good option if you live in the neighbourhood. Espresso and a slice of cake and you are ready for the day. Can be packed, either come early or go for take away.

You'll probably face only one problem there - a long long line. Many people are visiting Il Valentino. Big choice of deserts, coffee (salted caramel latte - definitely recommend it 👌) location is perfect. Take your coffee and enjoy grand canal 🙏

Second review even if I come here often as I live close by. Much better experience lately compared to the past: people change (so do I) and businesses too (so do they). Still not impressed that much to give 5/5, but this is just my experience. What I definitely appreciate is the quality of food offered and the smile on... More

My friends love the coffee. I dont drink it so not so sure. The croissant is okay but butlers has a better one. Always busy so should be good.
