This is an all-round excellent craft beer pub. Good food, good beer, good staff and a lovely, quaint, well-maintained old pub. Prices are decent for both food and beer and it is well managed. My favourite pub in town!

Welcoming pub with a verity of libations! The beers we had were delicious. We got there just a little too late for food, but what others had looked very good.

My traveling companions and I were desperate to find an open pub on Good Friday! So many of them were shuttered and closed. We were starving and tired and knew we couldn't get a pint so we were thrilled when we found this pub to be open. True, couldn't get an alcoholic beverage and both our server and cute bartender... We were happy overall with our dinner here. The beers are excellent, especially the stouts and porters. The wings were undersized but tasty with a tangy spiciness. The bangers and mash were delicious. The pepperoni pizza was disappointing. Instead of pepperoni, it had sliced hot dog on it! We were pressed for time and I was already pretty full so... More

I found the place by accicdent when walking the streets hunting for food. It seems there are a few porterhouse pubs in dublin, selling their own and lots of other craft beer. The burger is worth a try (don't forget to add bacon).

My friend and I just wanted to have a drink after the long week. The place was noisy and the atmosphere was fine. Is a fine place to have a drink at Friday night.

This bar was a great find. From the outside it looks quite small and a bit dingy but when you step inside its huge and nothing like you'd expect. Great craft ales and a good atmosphere

We came here several times during our long weekend in Dublin and it was very busy then entire time. certainly somewhere to come and soak up the party atmosphere (not a quiet little pub). There was live music upstairs on one occasion which was lovely. The taster planks are great and we tried lots of different ales and stouts. The... More

Enjoyed sitting here twice at lunchtime, needing a rest from all the walking around! Wonderful craft beer, especially welcome if you're like us, not Guiness drinkers, and good food like the Chicken Pot Pie. Go and enjoy!
