Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Decided to take a short walk from the hotel and save 14 euros on breakfasts. Good service, and personable staff. Small full breakfast, tea, home made toasted bread, latte coffee, coke and poached eggs(3) 16.70 euros. Will be there tomorrow before our flight,

Walking through the neighborhood of my hotel on my first morning in Dublin looking for coffee, I happened upon The Lovinspoon. While I did pick up coffees, three of us retuned for breakfast later that morning and twice more during our 4 day stay. All of the staff was great, very responsive, and food comes out fast. I had the “Regular” (bacon, eggs, toast, sausage and mushrooms, e6.50) each breakfast which was plenty to get me through the morning and into early afternoon, not always being sure when we’d be able to stop for lunch. The larger version of this – The Big One – could feed two people! Great, inexpensive and good eats!

Great breakfast; meat eater or veggie. My partner tried white pudding for the first time, he’s a picky eater, but loved it. The veggie breakfast came with pancakes, tomato’s, beans, eggs snd mushrooms. It was delicious and the pancakes made it! Staff were friendly and they clearly had repeat customers. It was a great visit. Thank you!

I’ve had my fair share of fry’s over the years. Airports, restaurants, diners, Home made... but the large fry here (also served all day) was as close to perfect as you could ever get. Each element was a high quality ingredient and you could tell that some thought was put into developing their ingredient list and product sources for this fry up. The only thing wrong with it was that there wasn’t more of it. Another egg perhaps. Delicious and I might just go back tomorrow.

After being disappointed at our own hotel's breakfast. The LovinSpoon was vibrant friendly and a lovely place to even just go for a cup of tea the waiters were welcoming and nothing was too much. The Big irish Breakfast was only €8.50. Which is incredibly cheaper than most other places in the area, but much BETTER! Would go back to Dublin just for the breakfast! Thankyou Lovinspoon!

We ordered an Uber to take us to the Little secret after reading fantastic reviews on trip advisor and it did not disappoint. The staff were warm and welcomed us like friends. The coffee was super hot and creamy and the breakfast was one of the best we have had. Everything was just a little bit extra special. If your thinking of visiting then do! I can’t recommend it enough and you’ll be pleased with the reasonable prices. 5 stars from us *****

Great food and great service. 8 of us rocked up and although they were incredibly busy they rushed round to see if we could be accommodated. 15 to 20 mins was the answer but given the reviews I'd seen we thought it worth the wait. Not more than 5 mins later we were all sat together as the lovely people of Dublin shifted round or left. I would have gladly waited 30 mins for the food we received, cooked to perfection and plentiful. THE best meal of the whole trip. Cheers guys.

A fantastic find, although small we were comfortable and not rushed. Lovely cute coffee shop. We had a small breakfast and pouched eggs with toast, both were delicious and served quickly. The staff were so friendly you can’t help but feel endeared towards them. We will definitely pop back during our time.

Wow, what can I say, this breakfast was simply stunning!!! Definitely the best black & white pudding I've ever had! Really high quality ingredients cooked perfectly. I had the large, my wife had the regular, both were fully devoured & enjoyed. We had a coffee & bottle of water each & it came to about €30, which I thought was very reasonable price wise. We found the staff very friendly, the service swift & the cafe was clean. We had to wait about 5 minutes for a table, but it was definitely worth it. Will definitely return next time we're in Dublin.

This cafe was a little bit of a walk from the centre but well worth it.We ordered the regular breakfast with no black or white pudding, it came with 3 big sausages, bacon, egg, tomato, mushrooms, baked beans and toast. It was cooked well and lasted us the whole day. We had a cappuccino afterwards. The staff were really pleasant and helpful and the cost was very very reasonable. I would thoroughly recommend this establishment when visiting Dublin.

I checked this place out online before coming. We couldn’t check into our rooms on arrival so walked five minutes up the street for a much needed meal. It did not disappoint. All day breakfast served quickly, hot and delicious. Coffee was great. I loved that the cook/chef served us himself and popped back out to check to see if everything was alright.

This was an amazing find on our fifth day of our stay in Dublin. Quick but very friendly service from Michael the barista, cashier, server (and more). Despite his being busy with a constant flow of patrons, he was cordial to each customer. The food was simple, expedited and delicious. We opted for the omelettes, with it came coffee or tea as a complete meal. They had a variety of other tasty looking (both sweet and savory) offerings, It’s a shame we didn’t find it sooner but we’ll be back before we leave. Visit this spot, you won’t be disappointed.

Seeking both an all day breakfast/brunch and a venue with outside space we found this place. Our cooked breakfasts were perfectly done. Generous portions of bacon, sausage, black pudding and all the usual (eggs, tomato, baked beans and mushrooms) The staff were helpful and the coffee was outstanding. Recommend highly.

Breakfast in Dublin. Been here for 4 days and this is the third establishment we have been too. So glad we didn’t go back to the first one which is just down the road from here. This has a very home from home feel to the set up is very nice. They play a low level of background music to set the mood. The staff on the counter are very welcoming and friendly, the chef even came out and said hi when passing by. The food was ace if u want a fry up then this is what ur gonna get. If ur in the area support this local business. Stay away from McDonalds and other franchises. You won’t regret it.

This is a bit of a jewel but in not the nicest area. The Lovinspoon has you sit indoors or out in a very chilled spot (4 or 5 tables outside if the weather is as good as it was for us). Amazing bacon and thick sausages white pudding etc etc in the massive breakfast did me the whole day! Yoghurt with granola augmented with delicious blueberries and banana also will get you through most of the day. Food (breakfast at least) is therefore a winner and the service amazingly quick and an absolute pleasure.
