We visited whlist waiting for our dinner reservation nearby. A Lively place with a good choice of drinks including Whiskeys and Gins. Just be a little careful, some of the whiskeys are quite expensive (30+ euros a glass!)
Visited here the night before a big rugby game and it was buzzing. Although it was so busy we were served at the table by a very friendly waitress, which was great. The food was excellent, especially the shepherds pie and the Guinness excellent. Just...More
Lovely atmosphere here, lots of lovingly polished brass and glass. Heavy stick-to-you-ribs Irish breakfast (beans, toast, sausage, hash browns, bacon, eggs although you can order without the meats) with good strong coffee. True it's not cheap but we didn't mind as we loved the art...More
Service was excellent despite being very busy on a Wednesday night. Food was delicious and I think good value for the money! We had steak and salmon and really great dessert.

Expensive Sunday lunch outing. Probably wouldn't have paid much more in the Shelbourne. Nothing bad but nothing memorable.
