Had dinner here last Wednesday night. Food was excellent. Started with a feta bruschetta which was big enough for 2. Fish choice was exceptional, oysters Dublin bay prawns, sea bass.... Enjoyed a really good John Dory for two. Had an excellent bottle of Italian wine on the waiters recommendation and finished with homemade Tiramisu. Would highly recommend it for a... More

Visited on Saturday night with in-laws and my wife: The city was abuzz with half-term and post-Valentines crowds and the restaurant was too. This wasn't evident in our waitress' standard of service, she went through the items on the menu taking time to answer our questions as she went, and we were really happy with our choices and the wines... The lobster salad was delicious as was the sea bass carpaccio. Lovely friendly staff. Decor is nothing special but the chefs are 1st rate.

This restaurant has to be one of the best we have both ever eaten at. Most fabulous food and the staff was amazing. The seas bass linguine was incredible best I've ever tasted. Couldn't recommend here anymore our visit was on a recommendation and this was the best we could of been told. Food was perfectly presented, full of taste... More

Was here last weekend for dinner with my partner. I honestly don't understand the great reviews, our food tasted mediocre and nothing amazing . Also not great service, we had to wait a long time for our bill. Overall I found the experience very disappointing, expensive and underwhelming. Won't be returning.

Visited as a group of 6. Great starter selection all round. Then excellent huge halibut fish shared by all after a very entertaining visual run through the fish selection menu. Very good wine recommendation which suited both the group and the fish. Believed our waiters guidance on the halibut and all were delighted with the outcome. All left cheered and... More

We were a group out for a night out and had a poor experience. The service was terrible and food mediocre - we were served 3 chargrilled prawns cut in half for starters ( ie 1.5 prawns for starter) and a glutinous tasteless pasta dish for main course. My friends were served the fish dish ( waiter making big fuss... More

Been here twice and really enjoyed it both times. The best option I believe is to get the fish - really fresh and done perfectly. I also had the seafood pasta which was a bit short on seafood...it could have been more generous. Also, my friend ordered the trofie tricolore and they brought our rigatoni. I don't think that's a... This restaurant on Crow Street, Temple Bar, can be summed up in one word 'Authentic'. Italian food leaning toward fresh fish and seafood ( live lobsters are kept in a water tank at the entrance).Tables are squeezed into a relatively small floor area which includes an open sided galley kitchen. It is an extremely popular venue and booking is essential... More

Description
Rosa MADRE has a great history ... Started in 2010 was only a little cafe selling quality italian coffee... By the time the passion of the owners and the staff this small cafe expanded and became today a full restaurant with more than 80 seats... How they did ? Well the most important thing for us is the food! The ingredients are every day fresh the owner Luca check every day all the delivery and make sure that only the best will be used by the Chef Francesco Mambelli .... Recently they started to serve the most amazing fresh fish cooked in the italian way which means very simple trying to preserve the real flavour of the fish ... In fact you can find every day lobster , sea bass ,turbot ,prawns squid and a lot more ... Come to try us and you will find out what the real italian food is all about!
